Chapter forty: Explanation

I sighed before holding my head, god just by so many questions I think I'm in a pop quiz. I took another shot at nasa akin ang atensyon ng lahat. Naka anim na tuloy tuloy akong straight ng alak. 

"Ang dami mong drama," Sabi ni Hailey. 

"Yeah, you could just answer every question at a fast pace. Think of it as a fast talk like Sex or chocolates." Sabi ni Maeve, at natawa nalang ako. Bata bata pa pero ang dami nang alam. 

I heavily sighed again before motioning them to start asking, "Fire away bitches." I drank another shot before looking at each and one of them. 

"Let's be quick, do you still have feelings for Cassian?" Tanong ni Kaede,I looked at him who was already looking at me. 

"I know everyone ship us even if we already broke up, but sorry to burst your bubble. I don't like him anymore." And I did that fine. I saw Kaede and Hailey's blank expression. 

Pero nagtaka ako ng biglang tumawa ang dalawa, "Yeah we already expected that." Sabi ni Hailey bago uminom ng tubig. 

"You think we didn't noticed how he looks at you and how you look at him? I also didn't forget that he called you darling on our first time seeing again. And also the secret going to storage rooms, bedrooms, honey, I can spot something by just looking at your dilated pupils Ravenna." Casual na sabi ni Kaede. 

"Now tell us, what's the deal between you and him? We'll accept it you know, kahit ano man yan kasi magkaibigan tayo." Sabi ni Maeve, wow. Friends na agad kami, pero okay lang naman. 

I was about to answer that pero naunahan ako ni Enzo, "She's already my fiance, and magto-two years na kami sa isang relationship." Tiningnan nila ako ng nakaawang ang labi probably waiting for me to confirm it. 

I smiled and took my ring from the pocket of my jacket. They were also lauging and giggling while watching me put on the ring that he gave me. "We're getting married next month, and I want everyone to be there for my wedding." 

They all asked the same questions, like how was I holding up after the break up. How long I suffered and etcetera. "When we called you and you were as cold as an ice, but now you're all like your back from 2 years ago, what's with that sudden change of mood?" 

"Enzo knows how to control or do manipulation and hypnosis. I asked him to control me whenever it's related to you, but when Cassian is the one that I'm speaking with he orders me to act like I still love him. but we're all good now, right, Cassian?" 

He just nodded as an answer, whatever. 

"Saya, I need you to bring Luke back here." Sabi ko sa kanya, at ikinataka naman yun nila Kaelyn. 

"Do you have two boyfriends? Sino si Luke?" Tanong ni Riley. 

"2 timer!" Sigaw ni Calyx. 

"Lakas naman talaga ng charm natin Hendrix." Sabi naman ni Ryota. 

"I knew you would say that, and he should be here in..." Tumunog ang doorbell kaya tumayo ako sa pagkakaupo ko at binuksan ito. I saw Enzo's mom with Luke. Pumasok sila at lahat naman ng mga kasama ko uminom nagsitayo at binati. 

"This place smells like the underground," Lumingon ang mom ni Enzo sa lahat at naging excited ang mukha dahil nakita ang mga kasama ko. "Ooh, you all must be Ravenna's former team mates, hi I'm Laura Okazaki, Enzo's mom. I'm actually happy because you guys finished the task or your mission. And all we have to do now is plan the wedding of these two." Kinurot niya kaming dalawa ni Enzo. 

"Uh, mom?" Tanong ko, at naghiyawan naman ang lahat. Saying that it's too cheesy and so on. I saw Cassian's boring face, probably not caring about all this. 

Umupo si Laura sa kinauupuan ko kanina at kumuha ng shot. "So what are your thoughts about their wedding, any suggestions?" Tanong nito na parang teenager na nakikipag inom lang sa isang bar or party. 

"I think we should plan a triple wedding, me and Enzo, Kaede and Ryota, and Calyx and Hailey. Will you agree with me?" Tanong ko, Laura looked at Enzo and he just nodded. Kahit nagdadalawang isip tumango siya. 

"Okay, we could plan it. El Nido right? I can pay off all the expenses to go there and your family will take on all the designs and catering. Then so on, we'll talk more once I meet your father, Ravenna." Tumango kami, ay wait! Nakalimutan ko na si Luke. He was still standing at the door. 

"Love, come here." Tawag ko sa kanya, lumapit naman agad siya sa akin at kumandong sa hita ko. Nakita kong naguguluhan sila Kaede so I explained. "Remember before mom died? She said something about a letter, and that letter contains information that I have a brother, or we have a brother Riley." 

Halatang gulat pa din siya kaya di alam kung paano magrereact. "Everyone, this is Luke. And Luke that is your other ate." Turo ko kay Riley. Luke hugged her tight tapos nakipagkilala pa sa iba. Nakita kong lumalaki na ang mga ate at kuya na magproprotekta sa kanya. 

"Okay everyone, this is fun but I have to go take care of the papers." Paalam ni Laura, she kissed my cheeks before standing up. 

"What do you mean papers? What papers?" tanong ni Enzo. 

She smiled before tapping his cheeks, "The papers for the wedding. And also, pack your things everyone, we're comming to the Philippines!!"

I smiled, I'm so ready to face that country again.

(Next few chapters are a little bit shorter than normal but it's aleast 800+ words.)
