Chapter thirty: Monthsary preparation

Tomorrow is our monthsary at kailangan na namin, or should I say kailangan ko nang magprepare. Well hindi ko alam kung saan ako magsisimula, gifts or just making myself pretty? 

Nasabi ko ba sainyo na yung buhok ko lagpas bewang na? Kasama sa makeover yung hair extensions eh, but I'm happy kasi mas lalo akong gumaganda.

I'm currently in the mall with Luke, Saya at yung dalawang lalaki na tagapag-buhat ng napamili.

"Saan ba gaganapin yung celebration achuchu niyo, at bakit sa lahat ng monthsary, bakit sa 8th pa?" Tanong ni Jesse habang may buhat na  pang-design. 

I heard Maverick chuckle and he placed his arms around Saya, "Tayo kaya, kailan tayo magkakaroon ng ganto bae?" He said in a flirty tone. Mayroon bang namamagitan sa kanila? Bakit hindi ako informed?

"Kayo ni Saya?" I said with and shot them with a curious glance, why would they even keep it a secret? Secret relationships doesn't last long, and that relationships are the most likely to be Toxic, and full of red flags. 

Idedeny pa sana ni Saya pero nagsalita si Maverick, "2 months and counting." He smiled before holding Saya's hands. Napansin kong namumula si Saya, first time to grabe. 

Naghiwalay muna kami nung boys at sila nalang daw ang bibili ng pagkain para bukas at kami naman ni Saya ay bibili ng mga regalo. 

Habang nandito ako sa men's section nagtitingin din siya, sobrang nahihiya siya sa akin ngayon. It's like she doesn't have a face to show. "You know, I don't care if you date anyone." Pambabasag ko sa katahimikan. 

Takang nilingon niya ako and finally I met up with her gaze, "What do you mean you don't care? Don't you know the rule in the agency?" 

I scoffed, "What rule? The rule where you can't love or hook up with your co-agent? That rule is crap, I'm giving you permission to break it." 

Umiling siya, "Okazaki will get mad, and plus we might lose our jobs. So I won't risk it." 

Mas matangkad ako sa kanya kaya madali lang para sa akin na hawakan ang pisngi niya, "Just by commiting to someone you're already risking a lot. You're risking your heart." 

Natahimik siya, I probably knocked some sense in her. 

Kumuha din si Luke ng mga bago niyang damit, at mahal ang mga brands na yon. Pang-street wear pa yon at gusto niya daw imatch kami. 

I picked those matching sweatshirts, shirts, and baggy pants. 

We are currently in dior finding a matching necklace. "This is perfect, you think?" Pinakita ko kay Saya yung necklace and she just nodded. 

"It's nice but it's pricy, you think you could pick a more cheaper brand?" Umiling ako sa kanya, nothing expensive or cheap when I will give it to the man that accepted every flaw of mine. 

"Hindi mo pala sinagot yung tanong ni Jesse kanina, saan ba gaganapin to? At ano ang plano mo?" 

Hindi ko siya sinagot at pina-process muna yung pagbili ko ng alahas dito sa Dior. Ganon na ata  ako kayaman dahil naafford ko na yung ganito. Dahil noon sa Pinas I only buy expensive things when they are needed like new guns and all that. 

Nakarating kami sa old unit ko, yung maliit. 

Uupo na sana sila Jesse sa maliita na couch but I stopped them, "Hep, hep. No time to rest you're coming with me to the small beach resort that I bought." 

They all looked at me with a shocked face, "You bought a beach? Wow that's some messed up rich people stuff." Jesse. 

Biglang tumalon si Luke at nagpakalong sa akin, "Yey! We're gowing to the beach!" 

Ako ang nagdra-drive ng kotse ni Enzo, if you're wondering kung nasaan siya may meeting siya sa ibang city and he took the jet. I know, dapat ginamit niya nalang kotse niya pero he insisted that I should take his car para may magamit kaming transpo incase na maisipan kong gumala. 

At simula nang umalis kami sobrang inay nung tato, Luke, Jesse, and Maverick. "You should be like us when you grow up." Sabi ni Maverick habang kalong si Luke. 

"Be a killer?" Inosenteng tanong ni Luke pero sinita ko siya. 

"Luke how many times do I have to tell you, we are not killers. We protect the citizens here in Japan from the enemies. We're not the bad guys." 

Nakarating na kami doon sa beach resort at ang ganda nga niya. This was sold for about 4.5 million yen, but it was worth it. This may be our rest house when we get old, and besides the both of us wants a lot of investments for our life. 

And my savings is already almost to 7 digits. 

And this is what I meant when I want to be stable before I settle, to make monoy easy for us in the future. That's the best mind set that everybody could think of. 

I checked everysingle room and it is perfect. 

"Put the balloons there," Turo ko sa isang plain wall. "And these photos, put it over here, I want it perfect so it looks like a picture wall aesthetic okay?" Tumango si Saya bago magsulat ulit sa notebook niya. 

"The gifts I want it placed on our bedroom upstairs on the right, Jesse." Tumango agad siya. 

Lumabas kaming apat sa labas kung saan may bonfire. Luke is already sleeping upstairs. And we decided to go and lit a bonfire while drinking hot chocolate. The weather tonight is cold but it's not snowing.

Umalis saglit si Maverick at Jesse, may kukunin lang daw. So I looked at Saya at mukhang nagooverthink pa rin siya, I took a sip before starting a conversation with her, "Ano ang turing mo kay Maverick?" 

She smiled before looking at the starry night, "He's my mundo." Sagot niya, at natawa nalang ako. Tiningnan niya ako ng may halong pagtataka, iniisip ang dahilan kung bakit ako tumawa. It was a weak laugh, a bitter one. 

"You know, I'm not trying to be the antagonist of you and Maverick's story but you should stop treating someone or a boy your 'mundo' why? Because girls couldn't afford that kind of attachment."

She smiled, "You're probably right. Why are we even talking about that, and how are you so good at making vivid advices about love and relationships. Have you ever experienced everything? Like toxic ones?" 

Umiling ako, "No. I would never do that because I know my worth." 

"And every girl that said that they know her worth always tends to love someone with full of those red flags." 

Tumango ako, "Yeah, you're right. But I know all the rules and consequences when you play the game of love." 

We became silent before she speaked again, "Yeah what are the rules then?" 

I chuckled, "That's for you to find out." Because not everyone has the same experience when it comes to love. 

Bumalik na ang dalawa at mukhang may nakita silang white lady, "Ano nangyari sa inyo?" Tanong ni Saya habang nakataas ang kilay. 

"Multo." Sabi ni Jesse na ikinatawa namin. "Siyempre joke lang, ano na ba kasi ang plano?"

"Simple, make him think that I'm kidnapped." Speaking of him I recieved a text that he will not be back till tomorrow, perfect! More time to execute this Mothsary surprise.
