Grayson's P.O.V.

Dani walked in the door with two boys and a girl,

"Hey dad."

"Hey kid. Who are your friends?"

"Um, this is Max and Harper." I shook their hands,

"Grayson." He gently pulled the girl in front of him,

"And this is Lily. She's our girlfriend and Max and Harper are our boyfriends. I-I think I finally figured me out." Max and Harper both took small steps slightly in front of him as Lily shuffled back a little.

"Dani that's fantastic. We're having tacos for dinner if they'd like to stay." All three relaxed, nodding.

"Thanks dad."

"No closed doors, okay?" He nodded before taking them to his room and coming back to hug me,

"Thank you."

"I'm proud of you. I'm always gonna support you kiddo. As long as you're happy, I'm happy."

"I know. I-I need to talk to you later though."

"Okay kid."

Later came that night when everyone else was in bed, 

"Dad?"

"Hey kid. Sit.", I said from the couch as I muted the T.V. 

"I-I just kinda wanna catch you up on them so you understand what I'm getting into. It-It's kinda a lot."

"I'm all ears."

"So, Max is seventeen-"

"He's three years older?"

"Barely and I'm almost fifteen. Can I finish?"

"Sorry, sorry. Go."

"He has a brother who's twenty three and super gay, a brother who's twelve, and a sister who's four. His dad is a lot like you and his mom is... around but not really there... if that makes sense. That being said, Max already fits in and feels comfortable here because it's a lot like his home. Harper is different. He's a lot like Max in the sense that they're both a little controlling and overprotective- but overall teddy bears- but his family is the opposite. His mom died of cancer a few years ago and his dad has never really been nice to him. His dad and uncle both get drunk and hit him a lot. I don't want you to drink when he's here because I-I really want him to see this as a safe place."

"Done. I want that too kid. What about Lily?" He hesitated, 

"We ruined Lily's life.", he whispered.

"What'd you mean?"

"She grew up in a house like ours- a home. Mom, dad, twin older brothers, a dog. A happy family. Last week, she told them that we weren't just friends as they'd originally thought, but we were all dating. She was nervous but she thought they'd support her like they always had. Her dad, he-he lost it. H-He just started hitting her and eventually she got away and went to her brothers and they helped her move out. She's staying with them now but she-she's really messed up from it. And it's our fault."

"Dani that is not your fault. It's on him that he ruined that relationship and hurt her. You guys didn't do anything wrong and if she needs somewhere to go, she's welcomed here. They all are."

"Thanks dad."

Max's P.O.V.

Dani grabbed my sleeve as dad practically dragged me out of school. I pulled from dad's grip, turning to Dani,
