Mia's P.O.V.

"Get in this car, now." My heart dropped as I looked up at Zach, debating my options. "Mia I wasn't fucking asking. Do not make me cause a scene." At that, I got in his car.

"I-I texted Ch-Chase.", I slurred.

"I'm aware. He was having a rough night and I took his phone. I saw your text and wasn't just gonna leave you here."

"Thanks I guess." He rolled his eyes, stopping in their driveway, 

"Guest room. Bed. We'll talk in the morning."

"Where the fuck were you!?", daddy snapped, hugging me as I walked in the door.

"I-I stayed at a friends house. I texted you."

"No you didn't!"

"We were worried sick!", Dimitri added, hugging me, "You have a lot of fucking explaining to do young lady."

"I-I-I swear I-"

"I don't want to hear it. We'll talk in twenty minutes when I'm calm. Get your ass upstairs.", Dimitri said sternly. I huffed but ran up to my room, pacing for what felt like seconds before I made my way to my window. I was halfway onto the roof when my door swung open, "What the hell are you doing!?" 

"I-I-" In the two seconds I debated jumping, Dimitri grabbed me and gently threw me onto the bed,

"Were you-", he stopped, his whole body slumping, "Were-Were you gonna jump?", he whispered, "You-You were. You were gonna jump. Oh my god it's all my fault. Y-You were gonna- I-I shouldn't have yelled. I didn't mean to."

"Mitri I-I wasn't gonna jump."

"I don't believe you." He hesitated, "Don't move a muscle." He left my room for a second, coming back with Maverick, 

"What's going on?", he asked, sitting next to me. Dimitri paused in the doorway,

"I-I'll be downstairs."

Dimitri's P.O.V.

"I'd have known if she texted me for fuck's sake.", Kaden mumbled, pacing.

"If who texted you?", Roxy asked walking in.

"Mia. She stayed at a friends house and didn't tell me but she says she texted me." Roxy froze,

"Oh my god. I completely forgot, I'm so sorry."

"Forgot what?"

"She did text you. I answered and said it was fine and meant to tell you but I got called in early and forgot. I'm so, so sorry K." He let out a breath,

"It's okay."

"I'll go talk to her.", I said, making my way upstairs and into Mia's room. I froze as I walked in, finding her halfway out the window. I quickly grabbed her small body and gently tossed her onto the bed, "Were you-", I froze, my heart dropping to my stomach, "Were-Were you gonna jump?", I whispered, "You-You were. You were gonna jump. Oh my god it's all my fault. Y-You were gonna- I-I shouldn't have yelled. I didn't mean to."

"Mitri I-I wasn't gonna jump.", she whispered

"I don't believe you." I hesitated, "Don't move a muscle." I left her room for a second, going to Maverick's room, "Will you come sit with Mia?"

"Of course." 

"Thanks." He followed me back to her room as I stayed in the doorway.

"What's going on?", he asked, sitting next to Mia.
