[COMPLETE]
A story where your boyfriend is your wingman.
Time was like a ticking time bomb for Wu Jaehyun, and every passing moment he could feel himself drift further away from his only source of happiness, his girlfriend.
He wanted things to be...
"If only you knew how much these little moments with you mattered to me."

"I— er—" Sunghoon cut himself off as he hand darted towards his pant pockets, searching thoroughly. His breath hitched slightly before he withdrew his hand, "No. It might be at home.." He trailed off, obviously awkward.
A sigh followed, I nodded wearily.
"Hey," Sunghoon called, "I heard the food here was immaculate. I think we should give it a go, it's lunch time anyways." He slipped out his phone, checking the time.
That immediately lit up my eyes, as I nodded. Like the dullness had vanished its existence just by a call of the temptations of a meal, and as if on cue, my stomach grumbled. Sunghoon seemed to have heard the ugly wail, as he blurted out a chuckle, shaking his head.
Red from embarrassment, and giddy from excitement, I followed him to the food counters.

I watched as Sunghoon clicked the photographs of the setting sun around the horizon of the beach. The sky had turned into rueful shades of purple and orange, complimenting the blue colour of the sea.
One eye squinted in concentration, while other wide open and shoved into the lens of the camera, the photographer Park Sunghoon clicked artistic pictures of the bonny weather.
Light breeze swayed our dresses, as I had to have a firm grip on Sunghoon's straw hat that I was wearing, preventing it from flying its way around with the wind.
A little wave of cold water washed itself towards our legs, giving out a ticklish sensation till our ankles before it retreated towards its larger form. The sand of the beach was warm, as I looked down at my naked feet, giggling when another wave crashed away the warmth of the sand bed my legs had made their abode inside.
The little laugh seemed to have captured Sunghoon's focus as he diverted his attention towards the woman beside him. He watched with a little grin as she bent down to cover her feet with sand, a laugh erupting from her mouth as she failed to gain balance.
A sense of déjà vu crawled up inside his mind, vaguely reminding him of his first meet with her around sixteen years ago. How her innocent laughter seeped into his mind and imprinted itself to last an impression on him throughout his existence. He was happy around her; he forgot all his worries for once around her.
Unknowingly, he found his home in her embrace.
Sunghoon's hand immediately shot down towards her arm, not wanting her to fall on her butt and ruin the white sundress they both had bought just that very morning, "Careful there, little girl." He teased her.
"Hey," I retorted, not finding amusement in the tease, "There's no age to play with sand. Don't act as if you didn't spend the afternoon making sandcastles." A little 'hmph' of dignity followed, as I pointed behind us, where a huge sand-fort lay, decorated with sea-weeds on every tower.
I remember laughing for 10 minutes straight when Sunghoon had emerged with sea-weeds as a decor his architecture, and how he sulked throughout the process after that because I made fun of him.
Sunghoon scoffed the loudest he could, still maintaining his infamous grin, "Guess this place brings the best out of us, yeah?"
My scowl faded away almost immediately, a genuine smile replacing it as I nodded at his words. Wise words.
He leaned in towards me, "See, the photos came out so beautiful," He gestured towards the camera before handing it to me, a wide grin hugging his blushing lips.
"Of course since you were the one who took them," I murmured before taking the delicate device from his hand, scrolling through the gallery.
I was in awe as the photos came out so beautiful, the reflection of the sun on the sea and gorgeous colours of the evening sky blending it all together. It was simple, yet an essence of preciousness could be seen in the pictures.
I must have scrolled too much, as I surfed through the pictures of Sunghoon's sand castle to Sunghoon posing funny faces at the camera to... me?
My smile was quick to fade as I looked at my pictures. I snapped my gaze towards Sunghoon, who had his eyes closed, feeling the warmth of being by the sea.
My pictures and... my pictures only. The camera was thereby filled with my pictures.
The beach. I didn't even notice when these pictures were taken, from me admiring the canvases, to me playing with water.
My graduation ceremony. My face beamed at the audience through the camera, as I received my degree, a pearly white toothed grin on my face.
The amusement park. A picture of me holding hands with Jaehyun, but the man was cropped out the picture, as if the sole attention of the photographer was to capture the 1080p smile on my face. It was one of the very few nights me, Jaehyun and Sunghoon had gone out together. With Sunghoon as the third-wheel of course.
Limited, but beautiful pictures of recent few years came into view. I was looking at the camera in most of the pictures, but I never had a clue that the main focus was me in all of them.
"Sunghoon.." I called out, only to look up to him gazing at sea with a hardened expression, "What's all this.."
"Our memories, Areum." A sad grin seeping onto his features slowly.
"But you're never in the pictures..."
"Exactly." He turned towards me, "I've made countless memories of us from afar, Areum. Memories for as long as you can continue to dream about."
