Friday Afternoon

Zoey's Pov:

"So, how's the first week of school back going?" One of my co-workers asked.

"It's going fine, I guess." I responded.

"How's your boyfriend? Is he treating you right?"

I nodded. "Yes, he's amazing."

"Well, that's great. Wish my boyfriend would be treating me right."

I nodded.

"Did I-" She started to say

"About when your boyfriend-"

Ding.

I stopped my sentence.

"Hello, welcome! How can I help you today?" I asked. I looked up and it was Jisung.

"Hi, Zo." He said.

"Hey, Jisung. What do you need today?"

"Well, I'm trying to look for something for Rachel,"

I nodded.

"Well, what are you trying to look for specifically?"

He shrugged his shoulders. "Probably something warm, since it's winter."

I nodded again.

"We have some nice sweaters and sweatshirts here. We got some plain, goofy, oversized, cropped, and many more types." I chucked. 

He chuckled back. "Alright, thanks, Zoe. I'll let you know when I need some more help."

"Okay, I'll be behind the counter,"

Ding. It was my phone. It was Felix texting me.

F- Hey, when are you off the clock?

Z- Around 8:00 since sales are very low today

Z- Why?

F- I wanted to go out for dinner.

Z- I don't know...

F- Plz? The dinner isn't going to be that big if that's what you were thinking

Z- I know...

F- Zo...

Z- That's fine

F- Sweet, I'll see you around 8

Z- Ok, see you then

F- Bye

Z- Bye

"Was that Felix?" Jisung asked, carrying five different sweaters and dropping them on the counter.

I looked up. "Huh?"

"Was that Felix?" He repeated.

"Oh, yeah. That was Felix. He wanted to have dinner."

He nodded. "Gotcha."

"Yeah. Um, is that all?"

Jisung nodded. "Yep. That's all."

I carefully ranged up the clothing items and bagged them up.

"Ok, the total is $50.79,"

He pulled out his wallet, grabbed a dark blue card, and swiped the card. His receipt rose up from the box. I grabbed the receipt and gave the paper to him.
