Chapter 19

Zoey's Pov:

After we finished our food, Olivia started to text me.

O- Are you guys almost done?

Z- We all just finished eating

O- Ok. Will you guys be done in about five minutes?

Z- Yeah, just about

O-Ok, we'll see you at the house

Z- Ok, see ya!

End of Convo

The waitress came with our bills and we all paid and gave her a tip and we all left.

"Bye Felix," I said while giving him a hug

"Bye Zoey, thank you so much for coming!"

"No problem,"

I walked to my car and typed the address of Felix's house on my phone. I waited for a couple of minutes so Felix can get ahead of me.

Felix's Pov:

I drove home and I saw a few cars that looked pretty similar on the street. But I thought that it was my imagination. I walked towards my door, lights are off. I looked at my phone to look at the time. It was only 7:30. All three of them should still be up and would still be here. I shrugged it off and opened the door and turned on the lights. My family, the boys, and Rachel jumped up and yelled, "Surprise!"

I was so shocked that I hit my back against the door and fell down.

"Felix, are you ok?" Olivia asked

"Yeah, I'm just shocked that you guys did for me," I said while laughing

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Jeongin started to say

"Let's party!" Seungmin said

I got up and said "Yeah!"

Olivia started playing music and everyone but my parents started dancing. They went upstairs and told me to tell them that it would be time for cake.

Knock knock knock

"I got it," I said

I opened the door and it was Zoey.

"Zoey!" I said

"Hey, Aussie boy," I said

"How? How did you-" I started to say

"Olivia told me about this earlier and I couldn't miss it for the world!" She said

I looked down and she had a box on the floor.

"Is that for me?"

"No, it's for Olivia," She said sarcastically. "Yes, it's for you," She lifted the box and gave it to me.

"It's really light. Did you give me air?" I jokingly said

"No, it's not, but trust me, you will love this gift,"

"Can I open it?"

"If you want to,"

"Ok," I sat down on a chair and she sat right next to me and smiled. I opened the box. I lifted the package that was inside the box and opened the package.

"What? A penguin onesie and plush toy?" I said

"Yeah,"

"I love it. Thank you so much!"

"Yeah, no problem,"

I folded the gift back into the box and sat there for a minute.

"Soooo," I said

"Soooo," She said

I scooted a little bit closer. She stayed in the same place. I slowly slid my hand towards Zoey's hand and she turned towards me and smiled.

"You're up to something," She said

"No. I'm not trying to hit on you. You seem really anxious and very introverted,"

"That's me on a regular day,"

"Yeah, but you seem really anxious today,"

"Sorry, no one, well, a guy in general, has never been nice to me, like you have,"

"Really? You're the nicest person I've ever met here."

"I try. I had crushes on guys, but they never liked me because I wasn't their type. They wanted the popular, pretty, rich, and the rudest girls. they only care about their Instagram followers and not about anyone else. They would probably use them for more followers. Sorry if I sound like I'm being an absolute hater. I'm kinda tired to see these girls not being down-to-earth. We don't live in California, we live in the Midwest"

"Oooo. Well, the guys, Rachel and I are here for you," I said while wrapping his one of his arms around me. "Sorry, is this too far?"

"No, you're fine," She said while resting her head and closing her eyes.

A few seconds later, we both heard nothing. It was silent. Then we heard footsteps. We both got off of each other and started being on our phones.

"Hey Felix, do you want to cut the cake?"  Olivia asked

"Uh, yeah, sure. Can you tell mom and dad that we're ready to cut the cake?" I responded

"Ok," She said while walking up the stairs

Zoey's pov:

He stared at me and I stared at him back. He smiled at me and I smiled back.

"What?" I questioned

"You look really cute today. Well, you look cute every day," Felix stated

I felt my cheeks get hot.

"Have you been drinking? I know that you don't mean that,"

"Maybe, maybe not. Haha, but no, I haven't,"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure,"

We heard footsteps and we got up and walked to the kitchen because the cake was right there.

"Mom, Dad, I would for you to meet mine and Olivia's good friend, Zoey. Zoey, these are my parents," Felix said

"Hello, dear," Felix's father said

"Hi, nice to meet you," His mother said

"Hi, it's really nice to meet both of you," I said

"Felix and Olivia keeps talking about you, a lot," His mother said

"Oh, really?"

"Yeah, they do," his father said

"Ok, can we sing and cut the cake please?" Felix asked

"Yeah, sure. Let me get the candle and the lighter," His mother said

"Thanks, mom,"

"Trust me, you don't want them to go into detail," He whispered in my ear

"Why do you guys talk about me? I'm really not that interesting," I whispered to his ear
