Zoey's Pov:
Homecoming day. The day that a lot of people have been waiting for. I don't know why it's just a dance. The creative class was canceled today because of Homecoming. So I decided to stay home straightened my hair and writing a few poems.
Knock knock knock.
I walked downstairs and opened the door. It was Olivia.
"Hey, Olivia. What's up?" I asked
"Hey, I need your help," She said
"Ok, with what?"
"With our writing assignment and with my makeup for Homecoming,"
"Yeah, sure. Did you bring your makeup? Because I don't have your shade whatsoever,"
"I don't have any makeup. Can you take me to the store? My mom is working and Felix doesn't know a thing about makeup. I have money to pay for the makeup,"
"Yeah, 100%. Let me get my keys,"
"Ok, thank you so much!"
"Yeah, no problem,"

We decided to go to Target to get the makeup.
"So what is your dress?" I asked
"I'm wearing a short red 2 piece dress. The top is a halter with beads everywhere and beads on the waistline. What about you?" She responded
"That sounds pretty. I'm wearing a dark blue dress with a bead design on the top,"
"Oh, so cute! Felix is going to die!"
I started to chuckle.
"Ha, that's a good one," I said in a sarcastic tone
"I'm serious. Speaking of Felix, what happened between you two last night at my house?"
"Nothing, we just had pizza and was watching Mamma Mia,"
"And?"
"Nothing else,"
"No kiss?"
"No. Well, we almost did"
"Wow. What happened?"
"Your mom came home right on time,"
Olivia started laughing. "Yeah, my mom has the perfect timing," She said
"Yeah, it be like that sometimes,"
"Yeah, it really do be like that sometimes."
"Well, we're here,"
"Yay!"

After our trip to Target, we went back home and we both ordered some food because we were both really hungry. While we were eating, I was helping Olivia with her writing piece.
"I feel that it's good, but you need to be careful with the number of commas you used," I said
"Ok," She said while looking at her laptop and fixing her mistakes
"What time is it?"
"It's 3:00,"
"Oh, we need to start getting ready. You can get in the shower first and I'll get your dress and everything else ready,"
"Ok, where is your bathroom?"
"It's upstairs and it's the first room that you'll see,"
"Ok,"
