Zoey's Pov:
About a month passed, and Felix and I have decided to keep our relationship private so we wouldn't have any weird stares from other people that are not from our friend group. And most importantly, my parents.
Today is New Year's Eve, and Rachel is hosting a small party at her house. I arrived early to help Rachel decorate the basement.
"Everything is ready, Rachel," I said
"Ok, thanks for helping me," She stated sweetly
"Yeah, of course,"
"So, what's going on with you and Felix?"
I paused. We never told anyone from the squad about our relationship. Well, I at least didn't.
"What do you mean?" I asked
"Like what I said. What's going on between you guys. Ever since you guys fought after the football game, both of you guys seemed to forget about it and got closer. What happened that weekend?"
"Nothing. We both apologized and agreed that the fight was completely childish. And that's it,"
"So y'all not together?"
I shook my head.
"You're lying,"
"No, I'm not,"
"Zoe, I know that you're lying. I can tell,"
"No, you can't"
"Your hands are fidgeting"
I looked down. My hands were twitching.
"So, that happens to me a lot,"
"Yeah, when you lie,"
I turned silent.
"So, how long have you guys been dating?" She asked
I stayed silent.
"Zoey. Imani. Henson. How long have you guys been dating?"
Ding dong
"Oh, the boys must be here!" I said running upstairs.
I opened the door. It was Jisung.
"Hey," I said
"Hey, Felix will be here in a few seconds. He's getting something for you,"
"Really?"
He nodded. "Where's Rachel?"
"She's downstairs, waiting for me to come back down. I'll wait for Felix. Go downstairs, but don't do anything bad. I don't want to be an aunt yet,"
"Haha, very funny," he said walking down to the basement
"Hey," He said while handing me a green large-sized bag stuffed with white tissue paper covered on the top to hide the gift.
"For me?" I asked
He nodded. "For my baby,"
"Aw, thank you! I'll open it up later!"
"No, open it now!" He whined.
"Your present is downstairs. I want us to open it at the same time,"
"Ok,"
We walked downstairs to the basement and Rachel and Jisung were gone.
"I wonder where they went," He asked
"You don't want to," I responded while I was grabbing the gift that I brought him.
"Ooh, this is nicely wrapped!" He said
