Zoey's pov:
The game ended, with our team winning, 60-44. I, Felix, Rachel, and Jisung went to our local diner. Felix and I are sitting next to each other, and Rachel and Jisung. Jisung and Rachel were giggling and being all cute, while I and Felix were trying to find what to eat.
After our waitress got our orders, Rachel and Jisung acted like we didn't exist. They just continued talking to each other.
"Hey, what are you guys talking about?" I asked
"Nothing," Rachel said
"O...K"
Rachel and Jisung started to talk to each other again, while Felix and I sat in awkward silence.
"So..." I said
"So..." Felix said while biting his lip.
"You look a little nervous. Are you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine,"
I looked him straight to his eyes and cracked a small smile. I slowly took my hand and grabbed his hand and held it softly. Felix squeezed my hand gently and gently let go of my hand.
"So, how do you feel about your first American high school football game?" I asked
"It was really fun. I've never seen you so aggressive within about a month meeting you," Felix stated.
"Yeah, I do get that a lot. Rachel always get embarrassed because I always yell during sports events,"
"Wow, how does she deal with you?"
"To be honest, I don't know. She probably tunes me out during the events," I chuckled
"Makes sense, haha"
"Hey," I started to say while softly punching him in the arm. "That's mean,"
"Oi," Felix chuckled while caressing the arm that I punched.
"I didn't hit you that hard,"
"You sure? Was one of your family members a boxer?" He smiled
I started to chuckle.
"Very funny, you should be a comedian one day," I said sarcastically
"Sarcastic much?"
"It's a habit,"
"I can tell,"
I smiled with glee.
"Oh, our food is here!" Rachel said while clapping her hand excitingly
I facepalmed and shook my head in disbelief.
"Fight me, Zoe," Rachel said
"You disappoint me every single day," I sighed
"I know,"
Felix and Jisung started to laugh.
"You guys are crazy. I sometimes you guys are siblings," Jisung chuckled
"We know," Rachel said
"Oh, look, Jeongin is here,"
Felix and I looked back to see Jeongin with I'm guessing his family.
"Hey, Jeongin," Jisung said waving towards him
Jeongin looked up and turned his head to our direction, smiled, waved at us and walked towards us.
"Hey, what's up guys?" Jeongin said
"Nothing much, just having dinner together," Jisung said
"Yeah, I wish I didn't have to leave early. I could've eaten with you guys huh?" Jeongin asked
"Yeah, 100%" I chimed in
"Well, I gotta go, I'll see you guys later,"
"Bye, Jeongin," we all said in unison while he was walking away from us.
"Jeongin is so sweet," I said
"Yeah," Felix said
----
After dinner, Felix was driving me back home.
"Thanks, I really do appreciate you for taking me back home," I said
"Well, you didn't drive your car and Jisung and Rachel already left, so you only had two choices. I take you home, or call an Uber," Felix stated
I paused for a quick second.
"Once again, thank you for taking me home," I chuckled.
"Yeah, no problem," He started laughing
He had one hand on the wheel and the other on the armrest along with mine. Without looking, Felix slowly held my hand softly and cracked a smile. I stared at the outside blankly, trying not to show emotion. But on the inside, my stomach was doing backflips.
He pulled up to my house and said:
"We're here,"
"Thank you," I said looking at him
"No problem," He said
He looked straight at my eyes. I stared at him back. He held my chin again. Do I have something on my face again?
He tilted his head and softly kissed my cheek. I felt my heart stop for a quick second.
"I'll see you tomorrow," He said
"Yeah, see you tomorrow," I uttered.
I opened my car door and got out of the car. I can't believe this.
It has to probably be unintentional. It has to be right? Right?
