21. for jeongguk

never in his life had the wish of disappearing from the world been this big for taehyung than it was right now, where he had a gorgeous boy looking at him with a smirk and he knows that he felt everything taehyung had done a few seconds ago.

he was speechless, he didn't know what to say, or how to explain the way he suddenly began caressing his face and HIS LIPS. his heart was feeling like it would break out of his rib cage in the next following seconds, if the air continues to get more and more suffocating for taehyung like this.

"startled?" taehyung felt his skin burning when jeongguk began to stroke taehyung's wrist with his thumb.

"i gave you the chance to kiss me earlier, why didn't you take it?" jeongguk moved closer,"why, babyboy?"

is that how it feels to die? taehyung hated the way he couldn't say anything, couldn't move or react or all in all think. he was like a dead tree, unable to move and rooted on one spot.

"w-why would i wanna kiss you?" he asked, trying to brush it off, even though, yes, he wanted to kiss jeongguk, he wanted to experience the feeling of the older's lips on his and yes, it was what his heart desired. but was it the right thing to desire, when the person you picture it with is your best friend?

"i just wanted to check on you, you seemed... upset before you went sleeping," taehyung explained.

jeongguk scoffed softly and let go of his wrist, placing his hand rather on taehyung's cheek, making the blue haired once again wanting to die. "wh-what are you doing?" jeongguk moved his thumb to taehyung's lips.

"copying your moves and giving you the same pleasure you gave me," he smirked. taehyung seriously wanted to cry.

"taehyungie..." jeongguk whispered, moving even closer, "what do you want? i certainly know that you want more than you're telling me."

how does he- "you're talking nonsense."

jeongguk's chuckle invaded the younger's ears, its rumble making him shiver. "you don't see it? do you?"

"see what?" taehyung asked, looking up to him. jeongguk moved his hand along the younger's cheek, looking at his confused face intently. he tightened his lips. "nevermind," he mumbled, retracting his hand.

taehyung's mind ran wild for a second and he didn't know what to do, besides grab jeongguk's hand and placing it back on his cheek. jeongguk looked at him wide-eyed, before his expression turned soft and a small smile graced his lips.

taehyung closed his eyes and just snuggled closer to the dark haired male. he didn't know what was going through him, but he didn't want to talk, being close to jeongguk like this was enough.

a low chuckle left jeongguk and he pulled taehyung even closer to him. "goodnight, babyboy." and even though taehyung's heart was running wild, his thoughts a chaos, he bid a small goodbye back and closed his eyes, drifting off to sleep.

taehyung groaned as he got shaken out of his sleep by someone. he opened his eyes and closed them again, when they caught a glance of his raven haired best friend and crush. "did you sleep well?" jeongguk questioned and taehyung nodded as he stretched his arms, arched his back and sighed out contently, eyes still closed.

only if he knew what he just did.

"you're cute in mornings," jeongguk said and taehyung hid his fluster with a scoff. "i'm always cute."

"definitely," jeongguk responded with a chuckle underlining his words. "we need to go to college, bub."

taehyung hummed, slowly sitting up. "what's the time?" "7:40, we have twenty min-"

"what?! i need to prepare a lot!" taehyung was about to get up, when jeongguk pushed him back. "i turned your clock off so you could sleep more, while i prepared everything, angel. all you have to do is brush your teeth and dress up," jeongguk scratched the back of his head and taehyung just stared at him wide eyed. "you are the best, jeon jeongguk!" he said and hugged the older male.

jeongguk chuckled, pecking the side of taehyung's head. "you are better, now get ready."

taehyung nodded and left the room and once the door closed, jeongguk sighed out, hand moving up to brush through hair. he opened the drawer of the cupboard next to his bed and pulled out a letter.

"how am i gonna tell him?"

"see you later gguk," taehyung whispered as he hugged the male in front of the college entrance, before parting ways to get to his class, also excited to see jimin again.

a wide smile stretched on his lips, when he entered the classroom and jimin was already sitting on his place, taehyung's empty seat next to him. happily, the blue haired, that still hasn't died his hair, tippled towards the table, sitting down next to his best friend, who squeaked surprised, not having seen taehyung before. "don't scare me like that you bitch!"

"good morning!" taehyung hugged him, with a wide smile stretched onto his lips, making jimin raise an eyebrow. "why are you so happy?"

taehyung thought for a moment. questioning if he should tell his soulmate about his feelings to jeongguk. and yes, he should, maybe because taehyung also wants to let it out, the frustrating message his heart has been crying out inside of him. i love jeongguk- i'm in love with jeongguk.

he turned to jimin. "let's go dye our hair after school and i'll tell you everything about it."

and so the small adventure began. once their lessons were over, taehyung and jimin went to the mall, shopped for a while and even (finally) dyed their hair. "orange is made for you, chim," taehyung commented as he fiddled with jimin's freshly dyed hair.

"black doesn't look bad either on you," the older chuckled, ruffling taehyung's hair. he thought that choosing a more natural colour after damaging his hair with blue, red and more. and maybe letting his hair grow out now, until it's healthier is also a nice idea.

"okay now tell me what got you so excited," jimin asked as they sat in an ice-café now. taehyung's cheeks turned red. "actually i've been hiding something from you and first promise me you won't be mad for not telling you earlier."

jimin raised an eyebrow. "i can't promise that, but tell me."

a smile formed on taehyung's lips. "i think i've fallen for jeongguk."
