"taehyung you dumb bitch, get the fuck up!" taehyung slowly opened his eyes when he heard jimin's voice.
"wh-what is?" he whined, trying to pull the blanket over his head again. jimin scoffed, pulling the blanket away again. "jeongguk's leaving!"
taehyung just groaned, trying to get the blanket back again. "good for him," he said, still not having wrapped his mind around the situation.
"he will go to busan in five minutes!" that's when taehyung's head shoot up and he quickly sat down. "n-now?"
"yes, now. you have to say goodbye taehyung. you can't part like this." jimin's voice softened.
taehyung bit his lip. "he probably doesn't want to see me. i mean, he's happy that he's leaving-
"shut up. that's the most ridiculous thing you ever said. now get up and run to him and fucking say goodbye at least. you know you will regret it otherwise," jimin spoke frustrated.
taehyung felt his heart break with every passing second he thought about jeongguk leaving and him not even getting the chance of saying goodbye. he knows jimin is right and that he will regret it forever if he doesn't go to jeongguk now, apologizes and bids him goodbye.
he quickly got up. "where is he?"
jimin smiled relieved. "parking lot behind the building. hopefully he's still there."
hearing that just inflicted the fire inside of taehyung even more and he sprinted out of his dorm room, not caring that he was still in his tata pajamas or that he hadn't brushed his hair or teeth. he didn't care at all, the only thing he was caring about was getting to jeongguk before he leaves.
actually, taehyung didn't know the way to the parking lot, but he knows the back exit and hopes that the parking lot will be there somewhere. he would panic, but he really had no time for that in this moment.
he didn't take the elevator, but the stairs, getting two floors down as fast as possible, before reaching the entrance hall and taking the back exit. a heavy breath left his lips when he looked outside, heart racing when he saw the parking lot
empty.
"no, no, no..." taehyung ran down the few stone steps and looked around the parking lot, mind telling him that this was the end, that jeongguk was gone and he won't see him again for a long time. he never felt this lost before.
he stopped running when he realized it wouldn't change anything at the fact that jeongguk was gone. burning tears prickled in his eyes, but he fought against them, taking deep breaths in an out. he didn't want to cry, because he knows it's his own fault for this situation. if the fight yesterday hadn't happen, taehyung would've been able to bid goodbye to jeongguk.
taehyung turned around and trotted towards the entrance stairs again and sat down, resting his elbows on his knees, head in his hands.
he felt as empty as this parking lot looked without any trace of jeongguk.
eventually he couldn't hold the tears in anymore and buried his face in his arms, softly crying to himself. he felt useless and dumb- hell, his last words to jeongguk were 'i hate you' and that with no meaning. he doesn't hate jeongguk, he could never hate him, it's the complete opposite of that.
he loves jeongguk.
taehyung didn't budge when he felt someone sitting down next to him, knowing it can only be jimin. "go away, chim. i.. wanna be alone," he mumbled into his arms, letting the tears flow freely.
taehyung froze when he felt a jacket wrap around him. "it's cold, at least you should cover up."
taehyung's head snapped up and his eyes doubled in size as he locked them with his best friend, who wasn't on his way to busan, but sitting right next to him.
