Imprint - Seth Clearwater x reader

23. Thanks Jacob...

"Tammy leave us alone." I say. I can feel Seth getting impatient next to me. It only takes one little thing and their lives might be put at risk. The guy and her laugh. I can feel Seth tensing up.

"So this is the little boyfriend you were talking about?" The guy says. Though he's acting like he's not afraid, it's clear that he's intimidated by him. And he should be, Seth towers over all of us, has muscle, and well he's a werewolf.

"You should just keep going, if you know what's best for you." Seth growls. Tammy laughs as she looks at me then to him.
"You're cute you know." She says slowly. She bats her eyelashes slowly sending pure disgust through me. Seth looks at me confused.

"Tammy leave." I say grabbing onto Seths arm.
"Why? So you and little Seth here can leave happily?" She says. I clench my fist. I open my mouth to throw either my fist or some pretty bad curse words.
"Wait.. Seth? As in Seth Clearwater?" The guy says.
"Yes?" Seth says looking confused.
"I'm friends with Sam." He says.

The way he said "friends" makes me think that he knows about the whole werewolf thing and might even be one himself. But why is he here, and how do we not know him? Seth looks at me thinking the same thing.

"Tammy let's go." He says. Tammy looks over at him annoyed. "I know who he is, and I know what he can do. We don't want to bother him." He says.
"What?" She says. He ignores her and looks up at me.
"I'm sorry." He says to both of us. He then turns around and starts walking away. Tammy follows soon after.

I look over at Seth confused.
"Do you think he knows?" I ask.
"He had to." He says. He runs a hand through his hair.

"Where do you want to go?" He asks.
"I don't know." I say.
"Okay well just come with me."
"Where are we going?" I ask confused. He looks at me and gives me a soft smile.
"You'll see."

I follow him as all these possible ideas pop into my head.

"Wait crap I didn't think this through." Seth says out of nowhere.
"What?" I say. He sighs.
"We need to go to your house." He says.
"Why?"
"We're going swimming so you should go get a bathing suit." He says. "Unless you want to go skinny dipping, which I don't mind either." He says joking. I playfully push him.
"Let's go get the suit." I say. He pouts. I laugh and then he does too.

We make our way to my house.
"I'll wait here." He says.
"No come on in." I say. He nods and follows me.

Charlie is sitting down.
"Hey y/n and Seth." He says.
"Hey dad."
"Hey Mr. Swan." Seth says.
"Seth you know you can call me Charlie."
"Oh okay ." Seth says and I laugh.

"What are you two up to?" Charlie says.
"We're going swimming so I'm here to get a bathing suit." I say.
"Oh okay." Charlie says looking a little relieved.
"I'll be right back." I say.
"Wait y/n." Charlie says.
"Yeah?"
"Have you heard from Bella?" He says.
"No why?"
"Just wondering." I nod.
"She'll be okay." I say.
"I hope so." Charlie says.

I start going to my room.

There's a knock in the door. I look to see. It's Jacob. My heart stops. Charlie runs outside and Seth and I follow.

Jacob sees seth and they seem to talk through their eyes.
"Is Bella okay?" Charlie asks.
"That's kinda why I'm here." Jacob says.
"What?" I say.
"She's-." Jacob says trying to think of words.

Charlie starts walking.
"Wait." Jacob says. "For Bella to get better she had to go through a change." It hits me. He's going to phase.
"Jacob don't." I say.
"Don't what?" Charlie says.
"Jake." Seth tries. Jacob ignores us.

"This might be strange but stranger things happen everyday." He takes off his jacket. Jacob phases.
"Y/n get back!" Charlie yells as he backs away.
"Dad relax." I say.
"What?" He says.
"Jacob phase back." I say. Jacob does.

Charlie stands there confused.
"What the hell just happened?" Charlie says.
"Well-." Jacob starts to say.
"No Jacob you've done enough." I say.
"You know about this?" Charlie says.
"Uh yeah." I say.

"Seths one too." Jacob says.
"Jacob!" Seth and I yell.
"What?" Charlie says. "Do you change to a dog too?" He asks me.
"No." I say sighing.

"You might want to sit down now." Seth says.
"No I have to see Bella!" Charlie says.
"You can see her at 7. And just so you know her and Edward adopted Edward's niece." Jacob says. Seth and I share a look.
"Okay, but you guys have to explain this." He says.
"Okay." I sigh.
"I have to go but I'll see you at 7." Jacob says. He's going to leave Seth and I to explain this. He's so lucky I can't hurt him right now.

He leaves.
"Okay what just happened?"
"Let's take a seat." I say.
"Okay." Charlie says starting to walk in.

"Not a word about vampires." I say to Seth.
"Okay." He says.

We walk inside and sit down.
"Okay?" Charlie says.
"So werewolves are a thing." I say.
"Seths one?" He asks.
"Yeah." Seth says.
"Y/n you knew this?"
"Yeah." I say. He sighs and looks up.
"Explain."

We tell him about the tribe and the whole imprint thing.

"Okay woah." He says.
"Sorry." Seth says.
"For?" Charlie asks.
"This whole thing."
"What he means is you weren't supposed to know." I say. Charlie nods.
"What about Bella?" He asks.
"I can't exactly tell you." I say.
"Can you tell whether or not she'll be okay?"
"Dad, she's more than okay. She's living the life she's been trying to live for a while now." I say. He nods.

"Are you guys coming with to see her?"
"Yes." I say. "I need to see her." He nods.

Seth and y/n just told me all about werewolves and an imprint thing.

I don't get it, but y/n looks happy. And by the way Seth looks at her, he protects her. That makes me feel a little better. It's like she has a whole bodyguard.

I don't understand any of this.
