Carpet Diem: Part 5

Dipper's p.o.v.

(y/n) and I sat on Mabel's bed with Candy and Grenda as they read the entire book, we both let out a sigh of relief when Grenda said "The end," But we both soon let out a shriek when she pulled out another book stating "Now for the 38 sequels."

"Let's save that for later! You must be tired from reading a whole book out loud," (y/n) quickly tells them before they can start reading. They nod in agreement but soon pull out that teen boy game and we were forced to play. The fake phone rings. "It's him! My dream date!" Grenda shouts, answering the phone as a robotic voice rings out. "Hello baby, this is Kevin, my beach house has room for two."

"Kevin has the voice of a robot," Candy points out, earning a glare from Grenda. "Don't ruin this for me Candy! It's your turn Mabel," (y/n) and I used this opportunity to sneak away, as we ran into a different room with a sigh of relief. "Gotta win the room," I mutter before shouting "Stan! It's me Mabel! I'm doing things you hate!" I start destroying furniture when Mabel walks up with a frown. "It's over Dipper, Stan gave you the room." "Haha! Yes alright!" I cheer as my leg lifts up and I quickly put it back down.

"Well, let's switch bodies then I can start moving in." "Wait a minute you can't have the room if you can never get in!" Mabel runs into the room and locks the door and I start pushing and shouting "Open the door Dipper! I mean Mabel..." I facepalm muttering "How am I ever gonna get in there?" An idea comes to mind and I go back upstairs to get Candy and Grenda. "Hey girls, who wants to give my brother a makeover?"

Grunkle Stan's p.o.v.

Now that the contest for the room was over I can get back to business, I head into the store and find Soos, perfect. "Oh good Soos, you got a second? Look times are tuff, economy or something, ectara, ectara. Basically, I have to cut your pay," Soos lifts his hand and places it on my face as he starts to breathe heavily. "Wh-what are you doing? Is this some sort of negotiating tactic? Cuz it's not gonna work..." His stare kept getting worse, and I slap his hand off shouting "Fine! I'll give you a raise just never do that again!" I let out a shudder as I mutter "Nightmare..."

Mabel's p.o.v.

I was making a no boys-girls- no Dipper allowed sign when there was a knock on the door. "It's Candy and Grenda!" I hear and smile, soon opening the door. "Friends! Hey guys, what's up?" I ask when Dipper walks up. "Dipper! Wait don't let him in here!" "Makeover!" They shove me in the room and hold me down as they gave me a makeover. "Stop! Stop! Wait no stop! Guys you have to listen to me!" I plead as Dipper and (y/n) walk into the room. "Good job ladies now let me just add one final touch," He taps me and we switch bodies. "Ah, my body, I'm a genius!" Dipper says, wiping the makeup off his face. "Alright Mabel, the room is mine!" "Wait hold on here! What just happened?"

Grenda asks as she looked between me and Dipper. I let out a sigh as I explain what happened. "I barely understand it, all I know is if you shuffle your feet on this carpet, you can switch bodies or whatever," Candy starts to shuffle her feet and taps Dipper, looking amazed at the new body. "Aw come on!" Dipper cries out, grabbing the key out of her hands. "I'm a boy now! What's up bro? Let's grow some mustaches," I start fighting with Dipper over the key.

"Guys, stop fighting!" Grenda and (y/n) shout, the two trying to tear us apart, causing another charge. "Oh no...Then again I do like having muscles for once," Dipper says, he had been switched into Grenda's body, Grenda into mine, (y/n) into Candy's and I was in (y/n)'s body. "Wow, now I have tiny little doll hands!" "Everybody look, swap back in three, two-" I start to count down, when Soos runs in, in Waddles body with Maguget chasing him. "Come back! I wanna deep fry your ears!"
