(y/n)'s p.o.v.

While Dipper tried to get Mabel's attention, I ran around backstage looking for Bill, I eventually found him trying to get up into the rafters and I follow after him. "Hey, Bill! Dipper wants his body back and I prefer him over you!" I shout loud enough only for him to hear. "He can have his bag of bones and flesh back after I've done everything I need to. But I guess starting with you won't hurt!"

He tackles me to the ground and we start fighting before I pull off one of Grunkle Stan's moves. "Left Hook!" I punch his face and he stumbles back. I go to punch him again when he tells me "Every time you hurt me it'll hurt Dipper."

This throws me off long enough for him to push me back and make his escape. I almost had him! I groan as I head down from the rafters to see if I could catch him when I see spot a star on a door that reads Mabel, I could hear her and Dipper talking inside. He found a way to get her attention, yes!

Dipper's p.o.v.

I wait for intermission and Mabel walks in giving herself a pep-talk before drinking some water. I raise the Dipper puppet up and speak. "Psst, Mabel," She spits her water out. "Ah! It's come to life! The puppet books didn't warn me about this!" She begins to freak out.

"Mabel, it's me Dipper! You need to help me." "Wait what? Dipper?! But you're so much more of a sock than usual," able asks, inspecting what must look to her a floating sock puppet. "Mabel you have to help me. Bill tricked me, he stole my body and now he's after the journal. You have to help (y/n) find the journal before Bill finds it. It's the only hope to get me back in my body!"

"But my cue's coming up in any minute!" There's a knock at the door and in walks Gabe, Mabel quickly grabbing the puppet and hiding it behind her back which for me meant I was dragged to the ground and she had a tight hold on my wrist. "Hey, Mabel do you have a moment?" "Gabe!" "Ow! Mabel!" "Mabel it's clear to me now that you really love puppets. I mean you went the whole hog. And if you stick the ending well...Maybe later you could join me for biscotti?"

I gasp as I ask "You drive a biscotti?" The lights start to flicker and he heads out. "I'll be waiting." "Did you hear that?! He loves it! This play has to be flawless. Can't we wait till after the show?" You've gotta be kidding me. "Mabel! You want me to be a sock puppet forever?!" I shout while giving her an angry look causing her to laugh.

"I'm sorry but it looks funny when you're mad," I groan in anger when (y/n) walks in stating "She has a point there. But none the less Mabel he's right, do you want your brother, your own flesh and blood to be a sock puppet forever? I want him back, I want to be able to hold his hand again, to hug him, and do other things that couples do together," (y/n) points out, her cheeks flushing pink and so do mine.

"Is Gabe's affection that much more to you than your brother? To his happiness? To his life? To mine? Because once Bill destroys that journal he'll be coming for me next!" "Ok, ok, just take over for me until I get back with the book," So that's what (y/n) and I do, we continue to the play while Mabel gets the book.

Mabel's p.o.v.

I reach the rafters and look into the giant wedding cake that held the book and I smile to see it untouched. I climb over the rail and lean forward trying to grab the journal. I let go of the rail and fall in, the cake falling as well when it stops and I sigh, clutching the journal to my chest, it starts to lift up as I look in the book. "Come on, come on, there's gotta be a way to get Dipper's body back."

"Oh, by would you want to do that?" I suddenly hear and look up to see Bill. "Bill-Dipper! Bipper!" I grow at him with a glare and he shushes me. "You wouldn't wanna ruin the show...Whoops!" He lets go of the rope and the cake starts to fall before he grabs the rope again. "It's slipping. How's about you hand that book over?"

"No way! This is Dipper and (y/n)'s! I'd never give it away!" "Hm, you didn't seem to have a problem taking it for your own play or ditching him when he needed you. So come to your senses, give me the book, or your play is ruined," He threatens and I start to hand over the book, I'm sorry Dipper. "There it is. I mean who would sacrifice everything they've worked for just for their dumb sibling?" He asks while rolling his eyes in disgust.
