(y/n)'s p.o.v.

The book had gone on and on about the secrets of Gravity Falls causing me to ask "What is all this?" "Unfortunately our suspicions have been confirmed, we're being watched, I must hide this book before he finds it, remember in Gravity Falls there is no one you can trust," Dipper reads, and for the first time since I could remember I gave a confused look as I asked, "No one you can trust?"

Just as Dipper was about to say something we hear a shout "HELLO!" Dipper almost drops the journal as he screams and I flinch as we turn around to see Mabel resting on the log behind us. "What'cha reading? Some nerd thing?" She asks leaning in closer as Dipper holds onto the journal tighter stuttering out "Uh...uh...It's nothing!"

She mocks him. "Uh...uh...It's nothing! Wha? Are you actually not gonna show me?" Dipper gives me a glance and I give him a shrug before he looked around telling her. "Uh...Let's go somewhere private," Mabel nods and we make our way back to the Mystery Shack, the entire way back I had been wondering when I started making facial expressions again.

Dipper's p.o.v

"It's amazing! Grunkle Stan says I was being paranoid but according to this book, Gravity Falls has this secret dark side," I explain to Mabel when we got into the living room as I showed her the page talking about Gravity Falls. "Woah! Shut up!" She exclaims, lightly shoving me and I start to pace around the room, flipping through the pages of the journal as I state "And get this, after a certain point, the pages just stop like the guy who was writing it just mysteriously disappeared."

I state when (y/n) speaks up and tells me "Actually Dipper...At least two people wrote in that book, there are two sets of hand signatures..." She trails off and I take another look in the book to see she was right, I had been too caught up in my excitement that I hadn't noticed, I glance at (y/n), and my mind goes to the mystery novels I had found in our room, could she have possibly been into mysteries before she had turned grey?

Just as I was about to ask her the doorbell rings and I close the book asking "Who's that?" "Welp, time to spill the beans, boop," Mabel says, knocking over an empty can of beans that was sitting on the skull acting as a coffee table. "Beans. This girl's got a date. Whoop, whoop!" She excitedly exclaims, throwing her arms in the air. Wait what? "Let me get this straight, in the half-hour we were gone, you already found a boyfriend?"

I ask and she shrugs at me. "What can I say? I guess I'm just irassssistable," She tells me, outstretching the world irresistible as she flops her arms around, the doorbell ringing again as she races to the door shouting "Coming!"

I hop into the seat Mabel was sitting on and (y/n) sits on the skull, nervously looking over my shoulder as I flipped through the pages of the journal. Was she curious about the journal too? She noticed the two handwriting, maybe she could help me find the authors? "What you reading there slick?"

I suddenly hear Grunkle Stan ask I look up to see him at the doorway and I shove the journal under the pillow, (y/n) soon heading me a magazine that I look at the cover and tell him "Oh! I was just catching up on uh...Gold Chains for Old Men Magzine?"

Grunkle Stan p.o.v.

"That's a good issue," I tell him, taking a sip of my soda, my eyes training on the girl I had agreed to take care of years ago when I notice her cover her mouth as if to hide a giggle. I internally raise my eyebrow at her, that was new, when did she start showing facial expressions? My gaze falls to Dipper, did he have something to do with this? "Hey, family~ Say hello to my new boyfriend!" We all hear Mabel shout and we turn to see her with some guy standing next to her.

(y/n) p.o.v

"Sup," The man says in a husky voice while lifting up his hand. "Hey..." Dipper says, giving a small wave, Grunkle Stan giving him a finger gun with his free hand asking "How's it hanging?" "Hi..." I practically whisper as I looked at him skeptically, he gave me an off feeling, and it wasn't just because he looked way older than Mabel. "We met at the cemetery, he's really deep...Oh! A little muscle there...that's...What a surprise."

She says, squeezing the man's arm, Dipper narrowing his eyes as he asks "So...What's your name?"  "Uh...Normal...MAN!" He half shouts out and Mabel helps him by saying "He means Norman," I had been looking at him carefully when I noticed thee red substance on his face and pointed at it asking:

"Are you bleeding Norman?" "It's jam!" He quickly says and Mabel gasps, slightly shoving Norman. "I love jam! Look at this!" "So you wanna go hold hands or whatever?" Norman asks, flustering Mabel. "Oh...Oh my goodness, don't wait up!" She races out of the house, Norman following her as he crashed around the house. After he was gone, I took in a deep breath and tugged on Dipper's vest to get his attention, I may not be good with words or people but he needed to know. "Something's not right about him," I tell Dipper he nods, grabbing my hand as he dragged me upstairs where he pulled out the journal.

Grunkle Stan's p.o.v

I hide my face in the Gold Chains for Old Men Magazine as I watched the kids, and I smile (y/n) had always been an introvert, you could never get her to talk so to see her come out of her shell and take the initiative to talk to someone else was a big step for her. And to think this started when those two showed up, alright let's see how far these two can get her out of her shell.

Dipper p.o.v

"(y/n) was right, there's something about Norman that wasn't right, so I decided to take (y/n) upstairs where we'd consult the journal. After flipping through a few pages I land on a page that talked about zombies and I read out "Known for their pale skin and bad attitudes, these creatures are often mistaken for...Teenagers! Beware Gravity Fall's nefarious...ZOMBIE!" I shout, scaring (y/n) as she fell off the window seat she used as her bed. "Sorry about that (y/n)," I say, extending my arm to help her back up before I turn back to the journal. "Dipper..." She murmurs as I continued to flip through the book.

"Dipper!" She says louder with urgency and I look up to see her looking through the window. I look through the window as well to see Norman approaching Mabel in a zombie-like walk. "Oh no! Mabel!, No, no, Mabel watch out!" I try to shout through the glass as I press my face closer as I watch him lift his hands and wrap them around Mabel's neck, before I scream I hear (y/n) let out a small gasp of fear.

Norman's hand retract back to his sides and around Mabel's neck was a necklace of daisies as (y/n) and I slide off of the window with a sigh of relief. "Is my sister really dating a zombie? Or am I just going nuts?" Dipper asks as he gets up about to start pacing around the room when we suddenly hear Soos. "It's a dilemma to be sure.  couldn't help but hear you two talking to each other in this empty room."
