Gravity Falls Shorts: Candy Monster

(y/n)'s p.o.v.

I continue to hold the camera up and record as Dipper finishes his latest video. He decided to start recording the mysteries of this town, calling the mini-series Dipper and (y/n)'s guide to the unexplained which was shown on the piece of cardboard he had written on with a black marker. "Well, that concludes Gravity Falls anomaly 13: The Mobius Chicken Strip," He eats a chicken strip, soon offering me one. "It's infinitely delicious."

Suddenly I was pushed to the side as some small creature rushed past me, making me drop the camera. "Woah hey! What the?!" Dipper exclaims as the creature starts throwing things around the room. "Mabel, did you see that? Wake up!" Dipper says, poking his sister for her to wake up as I picked up the camera. "Never. Let me sleep forever." (I'm on board with Mabel's plan) "But the creature just jumped out of nowhere!" Dipper tries again when out of the corner of my eye I notice it eating our Summerween candy and I point that out. "It's eating all our leftover Summerween candy," This makes Mabel jump out of bed as she asks "What?!" "Look!"

 We all stare at the strange creature that slightly looked human as it munched on our candy. "Ew, it's like a naked little man," Mabel says, visibly cringing as she watched the creature. "Okay, this is now Dipper and (y/n)'s guide to the unexplained #76 uh...That thing?" He shoves the cardboard in front of the camera with what he just said written on it. 

That thing picked up the basket holding our candy. "No! Put it down. Oh gross!" Mabel again cringes as the thing starts licking the basket. Meanwhile, Dipper was taping Mabel's stuffies to his body as he grabbed the trash can and the golf bag filled with clubs. I turn around and point the camera at him while he was talking. "Ok I'm ready, I've covered myself in armor," I smirk and zoom in on the plushies covering his body as he lightly presses it with a driver, the toy squeaking from the pressure.

"I'm gonna capture him for science-" "And for candy!" Mabel cuts in. "Get this on tape in case I die or whatever," Dipper continued, narrowing his eyes at the creature and I try to hold in my breath he could be so dramatic whenever he was trying to be serious. He walks over to the creature and the two circle each other for a minute. Dipper uses the driver to push some candy toward him and the creature jumps at the candy as Dipper tried throwing the trash can over it. He missed and I make the camera follow the creature as he crawled up the rafters, Mabel soon shouting "Die mutant, die!" She throws a stuffy at it but it missed and fell onto me. 

The creature leaves the room and we chase after it, Mabel once again shouting "Save the candy!" We stop in the living room as Dipper looks around and I ask "Where is it? Does anyone see it?" It jumps onto Dipper's face. Shoving the camera into Mabel's hands I run over and tug the thing off of his face and it makes a getaway to the kitchen with the candy.

Running into the kitchen we see it eating the candy on top of the fridge. I grab a can and throw it at the creature, hoping it would get him down, it retaliates by throwing candy at us. "Oh no, he's wasting candy! Dipper! (y/n)! Open your mouths! Try to catch some candy in your mouth!" "What? No why would we-" Dipper starts to ask when a piece of candy falls in his mouth. "Actually that's pretty good-" He was cut off again when a candy bar is smacked in his face. 

The creature makes another run for it into the living room, stepping on the remote, turning on the tv in the process, distracting it. "Look, he's hypnotized by the tv," Mabel comments as Dipper walks over stating "Ha, and he dropped the candy, what a little dummy..." He starts to trail off as his gaze lands on the tv. "Glued to the...To the...Boy I love this movie..." Sighing I take the camera from Mabel and set it down as we all gather around and watch tv while eating candy, the thing eating the golf clubs.

"Shouldn't we do something about the monster?" Dipper asks and Mabel shrugs it off. "Candy now, monster later," The monster begs for another club and I hand him one. "Hey Dipper, hey Mabel, hey (y/n), hey Grunkle Stan," Soos says, walking into the room when I remember the camera was still filming and I address it. "Well I guess that's it for Dipper and (y/n)'s guide to the supernatural. The next episode will probably be about getting rid of this candy eating monster," Soos starts whispering to the monster.
