[8] Swiss'd Up Part 1

It was bright and early in the morning in January. While you were awake in your apartment, you were joined by a small film crew. Why? Today was the first day of TWICE TV. While everyone on the crew knew where you and the girls were going, you didn't, since JYP wanted you to be in front of the camera as well as behind it on certain "manager-cam" scenes.

While you had the rare opportunity to play a role in front of the camera, you still had to do your job as a manager. Since you had to drive one of the vans to the airport, you headed to the JYPe building on the subway with your suitcase in tow.

One typical rush hour subway ride later, you arrived at the JYPe building. After greeting multiple people in and around the lobby, you were approached by a junior staff member with a camera, a TWICE TV producer, and one of the group's bodyguards.

"Good morning, Y/N. Any words for the ONCEs watching?"

"Annyeong ONCEs! I hope you all enjoy the adventure!" You said happily with a wave. After answering some simple conversations and making small talk with the trip staff, it was time to get the vans and head to the dorm building. With the large crew, each of the three managers were assigned to a van each for transportation: two for the girls and their luggage, and one just for the crew.

As the convoy got underway, you were slightly worried about the traffic on the highway headed towards the airport. Making a mental note of that, you and the rest of the vans made it to the dorm. You assumed that the girls would have a decent amount of luggage, but you were not ready for all nine of them to have a large suitcase for the 5 day trip.

Nervously, you loaded the vans and barely managed to get everyone and their luggage on board the 2 designated vans. You had Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Sana, Jihyo, and Dahyun in your van. Remembering the traffic, you suggested that the vans take the lower streets towards the airport. With everyone loaded and seated, the convoy was underway yet again. While the girls were happily talking about the trip and reading off of the question card given to them by the producers, you were focused on following the new route to the airport. As you finally started seeing signs for Incheon Airport, Jihyo suddenly gasped in shock.

*gasp* "I forgot my wallet."

"You what?" Jeongyeon asked.

"I think I forgot my wallet at the dorm." Jihyo said, embarrassed.

"Tell me you didn't..." You looked back at the rear seats at a red light.

When she answered with a head shake, you had to make a decision: either carry on and have her go on the trip without any money, or turn back and risk missing the plane. While you were waiting for the light to change, you decided on the latter, and as soon as the light turned green, you took a right turn and headed back to the dorm.

*3rd Person POV* (Other van)

"I hope this route stays clear. I just wish we didn't hit so many lights." Sadness-unnie muttered.

"Y/N! Look over here!" Chaeyoung waved her hands towards the rear window, trying to get Y/N's attention at the red light.

"Uh oh, he's looking in the back." Tzuyu observed.

"Nayeon probably made a bad joke or something." Mina assumed, while engrossed in something on her phone.

"Joke must have been pretty bad, he doesn't look too happy." Tzuyu reported, still looking back with Chaeyoung from the back row.

As the van started moving, Chaeyoung noticed that Y/N had turned on the turn signal on his van. "Umm, why is Y/N turning?"

Right as Chaeyoung said that, everyone turned around to see that his van indeed did turn away from the convoy and off of the route. While the girls were busy looking out of the back window, the manager immediately got on the phone to call Y/N.
