*Your POV*
After the whole anniversary concert and the media incident you had at the grocers last week, life had somewhat reverted back to normal. Since promotionals for the 'Summer Nights' album were pretty much done and there weren't any projects in the near future, JYP hadn't scheduled anything out of the ordinary for you and the girls.
Because of that, your daily pattern had become fairly lax, mainly consisting of writing and responding to emails, driving the van, and cooking for you and the girls. Today, you and the girls were on your way to the JYPe building for a routine dance practice just like any other day.
"So we have another dance practice, and then a 2 hour break until we go off to the Lotte Duty Free CF shoot. Sound good?" You asked, looking at everyone in the rearview mirror.
"So same as last Thursday then? Just with a different company for the CF." Jeongyeon said from the back row.
"Yeah, pretty much. Our schedules recently have been pretty boring." You admitted, pulling up to the lights by the JYP building.
As you pulled the van up to the building parking lot and walked in, there was a certain buzz in the air that caught your attention. Since this was your first time in the office building during normal hours this week, you noticed that the staff were walking with that little extra bit of hurry in their step, and there was a little bit more nervousness on the faces of the trainees, especially among the females.
"Hey, I have to get mail and some paperwork done. I'll meet you in the practice rooms, okay?" You told the girls, who just responded with a thumbs up before walking towards the elevators.
"Ah, Y/N-ssi, welcome back!" Youkyoung the receptionist greeted you.
"Mornin'. Any mail for me while I was out?"
"Erm, let me see..." She mumbled while thumbing through the folders looking for yours.
As you waited while sipping on your travel mug of coffee, you heard the front doors open and the sound of shoes running through the door. When you looked over to see who it was, you saw that it was a girl dressed in a sweatshirt and leggings almost sprinting towards somewhere in the building.
"Who is that?" Youkyoung asked, peering over the counter.
"Yah! Shin Yuna! No sprinting in the building!" You chastised her as she ran past, recognising immediately who it was.
"Sorry!" Was all she said before she ran up the stairs, skipping 2 steps before rounding the corner out of view.
"Crazy kid." You said under your breath as you returned your attention back to your underwhelming stack of mail. Having now collected your bundle of mail, eventually, you found the practice room where everyone was, and seeing that the dance instructor was getting the girls warmed up, you sat down in the corner of the room and got to your admin work.
Recently, the entire company had been busy with some project that thankfully didn't involve you or TWICE, but that just meant that everyone around you was really busy. Stray Kids had a comeback later in the week, Day6 announced their second leg of their world tour, and it seemed like a lot of the staff were working on a project for the company that you weren't involved in.
So while the girls were working on some choreo changes, you were busy replying to emails and organising schedules. And before long, it was already time for the lunch break, something you didn't notice until the dance instructor walked out with her belongings having finished the session.
"Wow, that was not 3 hours already." You blurted out, not realising how long you were sat there working.
"I'm already exhausted!" Nayeon moaned, slumping onto the couch next to you.
