Today was another day of at home schedules for everyone. With a new comeback looming on the horizon, everyone, yourself included, was doing everything they could do to have a proper summer break even with everything related to COVID forcing people to get creative with their hobbies and interests.

One thing that had really started popping off during the lockdowns was esports. While the professional scene hadn't really taken a hit, it was once idols began playing video games and streaming themselves doing so, fans went nuts. Fans knew that their idols enjoyed video games in their free time heck TWICE had a very open gamer in Mina among the members.

Even some of the girls had begun playing video games, with Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung joining Mina on Animal Crossing on their switches. With seemingly everyone playing whenever you went online, it was only a matter of time before you hopped on the bandwagon.

With everyone home, you were again tasked with dinner like normal. What you regularly did was once it was time to start making food, you walked around and asked everyone what they wanted to eat. Usually, some of the members would give you vague answers or the now infamous "whatever you're making" line, but sometimes some members would have a craving for something and you were more than happy to oblige. As you were walking around and getting food ideas from everyone for tonight's menu, you picked up on a recognisable sound coming from the next room.

*knock knock* "Hey Jihyo?" You asked, knocking on her door.

"It's open!" She let you know.

"Hey, making food rounds again. Any requests tonight?" You asked, before being distracted with the queue screen for League of Legends on Jihyo's computer.

"Hold on, my manager is here." She said to someone who was on the call with her before turning to you. "Shabu shabu? Not really in the mood for anything heavy today."

"That sounds pretty good now that you mention it. Who are you playing League with?"

"Hyewon and Chaeyoung from fromis_9. We're just waiting for Sakura to finish her livestream. There's a new event on and Hyewon asked if we wanted to play." Jihyo explained.

"Of course it was Hyewon, she tried so hard to get me to play last Christmas. Anyways, I'll get to work on the shabu." You chuckled as you walked out of her room.

"What? Yeah we're talking about you." Jihyo suddenly said, talking into her headset. "Hyewon says hi, by the way." She told you as you reached the door.

"Hi Hyewon-ah!" You shouted towards her headset, getting a giggle out of Jihyo as you walked out.

'Shabu shabu, huh... At least it's simple.' You thought as you went ahead and worked on the meal. Throughout the cooking, your mind kept going back to the 4 idols playing league and made you also contemplate playing yourself, since the idea of a limited time event piqued your interest.

During what turned out to be a really casual dinner where everyone kind of just did their own thing, you were eating your meal at the kitchen counter like usual, with the Animal Crossing trio playing in the living room. And like you often did, you found yourself scrolling through social media when you noticed that the WIZ*ONEs were gushing over the fact that Sakura had livestream earlier and mentioned that she and Hyewon would be playing offline later.

While you were watching the clips fans had taken from the stream, you got a call from an unknown number. Ever since lockdown, you had been on the receiving end of a lot of spam calls, but because of your job as a manager, you received plenty of calls for promotion opportunities for TWICE. So with a sigh, you answered the phone call.
