Chapter 4: The Letter

I'm sorry but what happened about us last night is a pure mistake. This is all a pure mistake. While you are reading this, maybe I'm on the plane right now leaving for the Philippines. She fold the paper and return it again into the box. Nakita niya ang pulang kahon mula sa isa sa mga maleta nila ni Yzian. She didn't know, napasama pala yung kahon nayon, sa mga gamit nila pabalik ng pilipinas. Napasama parin pala ang pinakamabigat na bagahe ng buhay niya. Makailang ulit narin niyang binasa ang Sulat na Ito sa nakaraang apat na taon, but the feeling, the angry she first felt is same as when he read it earlier. Hindi na niya alam Kung ano pa ba yung naging totoo sa pagsasama nilang dalawa. She scanned the things that can be seen on the box. Katabi ng Sulat ay ang isang singsing. She sigh. She picked the ring and stared at it. That ring. A million dollar Tiffany and co. Silver ring with a big crust cut diamond surrounded the whole ring with little diamonds. Hindi niya namamalayan, tumulo nanaman ang mga Luha niya. He had already engaged their whole life together, but still chooses to let go and run away. She depended so much on him, she trusts him enough not to do what the other guys did. But she's wrong. He's like anybody else. Her thoughts disturbed when Yzian knock on the door.

"Mommy"? Sumilip siya sa door.

"Yes baby come here". She immediately wipe her tears para Hindi mahalata ni Yzian na umiiyak nanaman siya.

Yzian sat on the bed with her mom. "Mommy, see this".

"Oh what's that honey?". She's now staring on what her daughter bring to her.

"Mommy, it's my clips and pony tails organizer, isn't it lovely?" Admiring the beauty of her work.

"Oh, Where did you get that?" She asked.

"Well, mama and I went to the mall earlier and she bought me this, then I put some glitters and flowers and ribbons to make it more fab!"she said it excitedly to her mom.

She hugged Yzian "lemme see".

Yzian handed it to her mom. "Wow..it's beautiful anak. This is really you!"

They laughed. Shin loves to stare at her happy daughter, she thanked god that she grows up a kind, lovable, sweet and charming kid. And she's so proud of it. Yzian is her mini version. She looks exactly like her. Back in london, Shin will gonna dress up like her whenever they go outside. Yzian loves to copy her mom in everyway. When shin is preparing or dressing up, when shin is doing her make up, Yzian will go In front of her mom on the human size mirror just to fix her for-baby make up. They are like best friends. Playmate in the morning, teacher in the afternoon, and a story teller in the evening. Yzian is the reason why she has to be brave back in london.
