Chapter 13: Apologize

Present.

One morning. Shin is preparing breakfast for her family at dahil bumabawi parin sya kay jazz, lahat favorite nya ang linuto niya. Jazz first came down.

"good morning jazz" shin greeted her smiling.

jazz faked a smile then pulled one chair then sits.

"Here oh jazz diba favorite mo to? Ako nagluto niyan! sige kuha ka" shin smiled as she offers the garlic fried rice.

jazz quietly get some and place it in her plate.

"Kumusta school? Jazz ah! mabababa yung ibang subjects mo." Shin suddenly asked.

"its none of your business" she whispered but loud enough for shin to hear. Shin got hurt because her baby sister is still hating her.

"Jazz ayoko yang ugali mong yan ah! ate mo parin ako!" Shin said calmly but stern.

"Tsk, wow! saang banda? bakit di ko mafeel?" Jazz said sarcasricly and rolled her eyes on her.

"Ano bang problema mo?!" Shin got enough. She knows that her sister's attitude is no longer tolerable.

Jazz smirked. "As if you dont know!" She stood up and Magwawalk out sana.

"hanggang kailan mo ba isusumbat sakin yung hindi ko pagdalo sa 18th birthday mo ha?! Jazz, god knows how excited iam to go back to te philippines just for your birthday Dahil diba promise ko sayo yon..."

"..But you never came." Jazz cut her off. "Nagmukha akong tanga ate! pinagsasabi ko na sa mga friends ko. Sa buong mundo. Na yung ate ko, kahit na sobrang sikat na sa ibang bansa ay makakarating sa pinakaimportanteng araw ko. You know what? I runaway at my own party. Because you dont came.! Tapos yung dahilan mo yung trabaho mo? Because of your work?! Paano naman ako ate? hindi na ba importante yung nararamdaman ko??" Thats it. Jazz also reached her point. She kept the hurt that she has been feeling for the past 4 years. And now that her ate is back, gustong gusto niyang sabihin at pakawalan lahat lahat ng sama ng loob niya sa kanya.

shin shook her head, and tears just run through her cheeks. "...Its just 1 week then, when its nearly your birthday." She started. "And i have to lie to all of you about my situation and just told you that its about work kaya hindi ako makakauwi ng pilipinas. Jazz, Yzian almost died. kinukumbulsyon, nasa icu siya. it was a hard decision to make! I was torn between my two babies. na yung kapatid mo na mahal na mahal mo, na all her life was waiting for that special day tapos dika makapunta dahil yung anak mo nasa icu nag-aagaw buhay? jazz, you know i would if i could right?. you know yzian is my life. Hindi ko maaatim na iwanan siya! Pero hindi ko din kayang kamuhian ako ng kapatid ko! Pero bumawi naman si ate sayo diba? hindi kita sinukuan kasi mahal na mahal kita! binigay ko yung car na gusto mo, lahat ng luho mo binigay ko. Pero sa loob loob ko, bat ganun? hindi parin ako pinapansin ng baby jazz ko?" Shin wiped her remaining tears but its non sense because her tears wont stop from flowing.

Lumapit siya kay jazz the held her hand. "ubus na ubos na ako jazz, and im so sorry kung susukuan na kita. Pagod na si ate, pagod na pagod na akong intindihin ka, sana ngayon matutunan mong ako naman yung intindihin mo." Shin looked to her sister's eyes then sighed and let go of her hands then rushed upstairs. Jazz left there wiping also her tears. She felt guilt because all she believed in is a stupid thing. That she hated so much her sister. That she didnt even realize that her sister is having a more trouble than her gaining shame.

Jazz was on her way home. She just finshed her class and preparing herself to apologize to her sister tonight.

Nang makauwi na sya, nakita niyang naglalaro lang mag-isa si yzian sa sala. So she approched her. This will be her first time na kakausapin niya ang pamangkin. Kay shin siya galit pero nadadamay din yung bata.

"Hi baby! How are you? Bat ka nag-iisa?"

Yzian just staring at her. Maybe naninibago lang siya because since they moved in from london ngayon lang sya kakausapin nito.

Jazz smiled. "Im sorry if tita didnt play or talk to you so much but i just want you to know that tita loves you, okay?"

Yzian just smiled and continued dressing her dolls.

"Tita jazz.."

"Yes baby?"

"Tita dont you love my mommy anymore?"

This made jazz stopped from what shes doing. That hit her. Ofcourse she did. She hugged her.

"Ofcourse baby, shes my ate, i will always love her no matter what."

"Can you forgive na her please? Please tita, for me?"

Jazz just smiled. Her just melt. "How come this little girl knows their situation? How can this little human asked for forgiveness for her mom??" She thought.

"Tita, you know what, mommy is really really sorry for na hindi siya naka attend sa most special day mo. palagi nagcracry si mommy kasi dimo sya kinakausap. Dami dami nyang iniintindi, you, lolo, tapos how to earn pa for my operation.. please tita iforgive mo na si mommy"

Jazz hugged her tighter. Shin quietly came in and just staring at her two babies. Then suddenly jazz saw shin staring at them. Jazz loosen her hug to yzian then the next thing she knew, shes in her ates arms. Shin hugged her tight and sobs came from the both of them.

"Im sorry ate.. sorry kasi hindi kita inintindi, sorry kung nagtanim ako ng galit sayo... sorry kung..."

"Shush... shush.." shin cut her off.

"I missed you jazz, i missed you so much my babygirl." Shin said as she wiped her tears.

"I missed you too ate." Jazz smiled.

Jazz let go all the hatred in her heart and she knows that she'll gonna love her ate more now.
