Chapter 29: Please Stay

Shin and Yzian arrived at the airport at 3:54 am. Isang napakahigpit na yakap ang pabaon isa-isa ng mga kapatid nito sa kanya at para sa bata. "Pakabait ha! Wag na mag-aaway laki laki niyo na." Shin looked at them like a mom lecturing her children. She always has this mothering care to her siblings, because she have to. Eventhough shes far away from them, she became a mom to her siblings to fill in the place their mom left for two years.

She provided a mom for her siblings, pero siya, wala siyang matawag na Ina. Mag-isa lang siya. Shes carrying the whole world on her own. Pauwi na sila sa London pero hindi manlang niya natanong kung bakit niya nagawa yon. She wanted to ask her why she left. She begged her to stay, pero umalis parin siya. She wanted to know her reasons. But a part of her is  afraid to know that maybe she left because she wasnt good enough as a daughter.

And that lead to another theory for Shin. Maybe Ian left because she wasnt good enough as his wife. His wife. She sighed.

"Ate naman. Ano kami, 10 years old? Nigel? Cooper?" She finally smiled.

"Oh siya sige na, baba na kami."

"Baby give Titos and Tita hug and kisses na"  Shin looked at Yzian whose hugging and staying so close at Nigel.

"Can we just bring Nigel with us mummy? He's so clingy! He's giving me loads of kisses or I dont know puro laway naman mommy!" Yzian exclaimed and crackling laughters filled the van.

"Nak, we cant bring Nigel. Dami na nating dogs sa london remember? Hershey and Kitkat? We dont need too much dog sweetie." Shin touched her chin and wiped her face.

"Okay mommy!" She let go of Nigel in her arms and went to hug and kiss her titos and tita just like what her mom told her to do so.

Bumaba naman na si Shin at yumakap sa ama na nakaupo malapit sa pintuan ng sasakyan. "Thank you sa lahat lahat 'nak, mag-iingat kayo dun. Andito lang lagi si Papa para sayo ha?" Shin break away from the hug and wiped her tears. "Papa naman eh, pinapaiyak mo ako. Ang drama drama mo talaga! Sige na po aalis na kami." Shin let out a giggle and looked for Yzian inside. "Baby say goodbye na to Poppa and Momma" Masayang tinitigan niya lang ang anak habang nagpapaalam sa mga ito. Her gaze turned to her mom who was silently staring at her behind her dad.

She gave her a slight smile just to recognize her presence. Matapos ibinaba ni XellJohn ang mga gamit nila at maicheck in sa loob ay nagpaalam narin ang pamilya niya saka umalis.

Yzian is silently walking on her side with of couse her colorful baby unicorn that her Ninang Sarah gave her on her hand.

"Are you hungry?" Shin asked.

"No." She answered back. Shin is shocked with what she just heard.

"Yziandrea Carmella WHAT IS THAT ANSWER?!" Shin widened her eye at her but she immediately gave her a wide smile showing all her teeth and her eyes so little.

"Im just a little bit sleepy mommy. So sorry. Yzian is not hungry. Just sleepy."

"Okay, pwede ka namang mag-sleep sa lap ni mommy. Later pa naman yung flight natin" Shin tapped her legs to let Yzian lay her head on her lap.

"Thanks mommy!" Shin smiled and kissed her head. "Youre welcome sweetie." Shin answered back.

She opened up her phone to check her email. As she scrolling, something caught her attention. It was the updated version of the divorce papers that her attorney send her. It gave a little pinch in her heart.
