A few minutes later, the four of them made it down to the little gym that would be their arena.
Mix: We really do look too similar in our hero outfits, Ty.
Ty: Agreed.. One day one of us needs a color change or something.
Ty's outfit was a white and red kimono. It slighly resembled Ojiro's outfit, actually. Mix's was basically a ninja outfit. It was white with a few blue details. He pulled a mask up over his nose to complete the look. It also had a hood, but he almost never wore it.
Mix: Yes. It'll be you though. I like white.
Ty: No, it'll be you!
Mina: You can argue about your color schemes later guys. We're starting in a minute!
Ty: Right.. to be continued.
Mix: For the fiftieth time, yes.
Aizawa then instructed Misaka to go to one end of the gym, and her four opponents to the other side. Him and the rest of the class were at a third side, far back enough to not get caught up in the fight.
Aizawa: Rules are simple. Incapacitate your opponent or opponents, and you win.
Everyone nodded in understanding.
Aizawa: Now.. Begin.
The second they heard begin, Deku and Ty bolted forwards, Deku being the faster of the two. Mix disappeared, and Mina stayed back. Misaka watched the two approaching boys with a concentrated look on her face.
Deku: Taaake this!
He made it to her and jumped, then went to kick her in the head. At the same time, Ty was staying a few feet back, ready to try to set her ablaze.
Misaka responded by ducking under Deku's kick, sliding away from him, and shooting electricity into his back, shocking him hard. She then turned to Ty, who was staring in shock at Deku being countered so smoothly.
As Misaka aimed another shot, this time at Ty, Mix appeared behind her and kicked her in the leg, sending her to the ground. Without even getting up, she changed her aim to Mix and shocked him too. He tried to teleport away, but he wasn't fast enough and took the shock just like Deku did. They were now both on the ground, twitching a lot.
Ty: Damn..
Misaka then stood and looked at Ty.
Misaka: It was a good idea, I'll admit. Sorry it's not working out.
Ty: We're not done just yet!
Ty then ducked as Mina jumped over him, having ran over while Misaka was down. She then shot acid at the eletromaster, who responded by waving her arm upwards. A moment later, a thin layer of something black came up from the ground and blocked the acid. It melted away, but definitely blocked the attack.
Mina: What the?!
Misaka then shocked her too.
Ty: Mina!
Misaka: Again, sorry about that. I'm only shooting hard enough to immobilize them, but they're all definitely out of this fight.
Ty: Damn it. What the heck was that black stuff!
Misaka: Iron sand. I can control it if I conduct electricity through it, and I scattered it on the ground when I got hit by Mix.
Ty: You just had that casually in your pockets?
Misaka: Of course. It's a reliable tool for me. Now,
She grins, having a look that says she wants to have some fun.
Misaka: Let's wrap this up! Gimme all you've got!
Ty grins as well.
Ty: Don't worry, I intend to!
The two of them then began clashing, firing shots at each other and blocking the opponents with their own. Turns out fire and electricity canceled each other out pretty well. This went on for a while, until eventually Misaka bolted towards him, then jumped over him. When she was above Ty, she fired a massive bolt of electricity straight down at him. He tries to dodge, but fails to do so. He gets shocked so hard he passed out on the ground seconds later.
Misaka lands behind him, then turns and looks down at him.
Misaka: I'm sorry about that. I think I went a little over kill. Anyway.. I guess I win.
Mix appears in front of her, punch already wound up and being thrown towards her. She doesn't even look surprised and dodges it easily. She then shocks him again, but he teleports away instead of collapsing. He reappears behind her, shaking a lot from being shocked twice, and swings at her again. She turns to face him and dodges again, followed by another shock.
Mix grunts loudly in pain.
One of their classmates yells out "Mix! That's enough!" He couldn't tell who though. He just kept trying to get another hit in on her. No matter where he appeared though, Misaka dodged his strikes and shocked him even more.
Mix thinking: How? How can she keep dodging no matter where I go?!
He takes another shock after yet another miss.
Mix thinking: I won't drop...
Another miss and a shock.
Mix thinking: I WON'T!
The next shock though is stronger than all the rest, and he drops to his knees.
Mix, mumbling: d-damn.. it... n-no....
Misaka: I've fought alongside a teleporter countless time. I know how to fight one. Sorry.
Mix: damn it...
"I'm..... no good..."
That was the last thing he mumbled after collapsing to the ground, right before losing consciousness.
Everyone stares silently. No one had expected to see something like that. They all knew Mix wasn't that great of a fighter, so that wasn't too much of a surprise. But the fast that he pushed himself to keep going for so long.. it was shocking. No pun intended.
Aizawa: After an.. interesting and rather brief battle, Mikoto Misaka is the winner.
Everyone got over their shock and congratulated the new girl on her win. Soon after, the four KOed students are taken to go recover, and an uninvited spectator left after watching from a window.
???: Was that really him..? He's not what I expected... I hope he's up for this.
