This world is a society of people with incredible powers.

Not everyone is lucky enough to be born with one of these powers. However if they are, it's one of two things. An ability, or a quirk.

Abilities are powers that are somewhat common among people, and thus the user's skill with their ability can be judged on a scale of one to five, with five being the strongest. However, only seven level fives exist in the world at the moment.

Quirks, are powers that are more rare among people or in some cases, completely unique to only one individual. Because of this, they cannot be judged on a level scale.

Another difference between the two, is because abilities are commonly found in people, there are booster shots that accelerate abilities once the wielder is capable of leveling up. Because of this, some quirk users dislike ability users because of how much harder they have to work to get stronger.

People with powers have three options in life.

One, they do nothing with their amazing powers and waste their potential.

Two, they become a pro hero, and save people. This is the option most quirk users try to take.

Three, they join Judgement, which is basically the police force that enforces the law when heroes aren't necessarily needed. This is the option ability users tend to take.

Mix didn't want that though.

Growing up, Mix was always told he couldn't be a hero. That he should just work towards joining Judgement. Teleporting was an ability not so great for being a hero. What could he do? Get cats out of trees easily? That's how most people saw it, at least.

For the past year, Mix had been trying his hardest in the U.A. High hero course, wanting to become a hero just like his friend, Tyler.

With Ty's help, Mix had been learning to use his teleporting in combat. Though he still has a long way to go with it. And when compared to his classmates, he has an even longer way to go.

Mix thinking: I know I can do this. If I can just keep training, and get strong enough to reach level four, I'm sure I can catch up with everyone! I can do this! Or.. at least I hope so.

Mix thought to himself as him and Tyler ran onto school grounds, on their way to class, which they were already late for.

Mix: See ya inside!

He vanished, teleporting forward large distances over and over to speed himself along.

Ty: Hey! No fair! Wait up!!

Ty ran after him, now being the one behind. It doesn't matter who gets there first! Mr Aizawa will punish us both anyways!!
