After dealing with the demon man, Mix Ty and Tina all started walking to the arcade that they had wanted to be at an hour ago.

Mix: He really chose a bad time to attack, huh?

Ty: Yeah no kidding. We just wanna play some games!

Mix: Yep. And now I'm almost completely exhausted.. not to mention I hurt my arm.

Tina: I can fix the exhaustion.

Mix: Hm?

He looked over at Tina as she reached into her pocket and pulled out what looked like a medication bottle. She opened it and took out a couple pills, then held them out to Mix. He took them and looked at them cautiously.

Mix: What are they..?

Tina: Caffeine pills. I eat them to stay awake during the day.

Ty: "Eat them?" As in often?

Tina nods, then takes two.

Tina: Mhmm. I'm a bit of a night owl.

Mix: Huh.. Well, alright then. Thank you.

He takes the pills she shared with him, and by the time they got to the arcade he felt full of energy again. For the time being at least. Saten smiled excitedly when they got there.

Saten: Finally! You're here.

Mix: Yep! Now let's go have some fun!

Saten grabbed Mix's hand and pulled him inside, the two of them running off. Ty grinned, then walked in with Tina.

Tina: Should we leave them to themselves?

Ty: Probably. You cool with hanging with me?

Tina nods.

Tina: Of course. I'm sure it'll be fun.

Her voice lacks emotion as always, but she smiles at least, so it was safe to say she was at least happy.

While Ty and Tina each paid for a reasonable amount of tokens each, Mix and Saten bought a bucket full. They also bought said bucket. Together they ran around like excited children, playing everything they laid eyes on.

Mix: Hey, how come I keep losing at everything?

Saten: Hehe, guess I'm just too good.

She smirked, having a ton of tickets from winning games, where as Mix had seven. Mix looked around, hoping to find something he could win at.

Mix: Hmmm.. How about that one?

He points to a skee-ball machine. A game of rolling balls up ramps into holes.

Saten: Skee ball? Sure! May as well beat you at another one.

Saten looked way too smug, and Mix knew he was gonna show her who's boss this time. They both put a token in the machines, and got three balls each. Saten rolled a ball first, landing in the middle ring for 150 points.

Mix: Nice. Try this one though.

He rolled his ball, but teleported it just before it left his hand. It fell in the highest point hole for 250. Mix looked like he felt like a genius.

Saten: Hey! Hehe, no fair!

Mix: All's fair in love and war, Saten.

She looked a little angy, then rolled her second ball. She landed it in the same hole again for 150. As Mix went to roll his, Saten realized something.

Saten: Waaait, did you say love~?

Mix froze mid throw, forgetting to teleport the ball due to being caught off guard. It rolled up, and landed in the worst hole. 50 points.

Mix: D-Did I..? I- Um..

Saten grinned. Got him! He was too easy sometimes. Well, all the time. Now she can win! She rolled her last ball, and got the best hole. 250!

Saten: Ha! 550 point! Now you can only tie me.

Mix: Seriously?! Dang it!

Saten: Hehe, sorry Mix. I just can't be beaten.

Her smugness returned, and Mix rolled his last ball. He got 150 points.

Mix: And here I thought I was being smart.

Saten: Hehe, you were for a little bit there. I won't lose to a cheater though.

Mix: I-It wasn't cheating! Just.. tactically using my ability.

Saten: To cheat?

Mix: Well... yes.

Saten: Exactly. Now come on! There's still tons more games to play!

They gathered the tickets they won, then Saten grabbed his hand again and ran off to the next game, pulling Mix along.

Mix: W-Woah! Slow down!

Saten: Haha! Not while there's fun to be had!

She continues pulling him along until she finds the next game she wants to play.

Saten: This one! We HAVE to play this one!!

Mix: DDR..? I'm not exactly much of a dancer..

Saten: Oh come on! We have to!!

Mix really didn't wanna make a fool out of himself, but Saten seemed extremely excited.. So of course he agreed to play it.

Saten: YAY! Let's do this!!

They pop in some tokens and pick a song. By the end of it, Saten got a perfect score, and Mix had fallen over three times.

Mix: Why did we pick such a hard song?!

Saten: Mix it was on easy mode.

Mix: Oh.

Saten giggles and helps him up.

Saten: Wanna watch what a pro looks like?

Mix raises an eyebrow, curious just how good she is.

Mix: Hehe, sure. Let's see what you can do.

Saten grins, then starts flipping through the song choices excitedly. She picks the song "Happy", then waits for it to start while Mix watches from the side.

(Imagine Saten dancing like this:

I couldn't get the link to work, so um.. copy/paste that into a search bar.)

From start to finish, Saten looked like she was having a blast, dancing like no tomorrow. Mix didn't dare look away. He wanted to see every second of it.

Mix thinking: She looks amazing, so happy like this..

The song ends, and Saten got the high score. She jumps in victory.

Saten: WOOHOO! I did it!

Mix: Hehe, nice job! That was amazing.

Saten: See? I'm a pro!

Mix: More like a master. Wanna play any more?

Saten: Yeah! Won't you get bored just watching though?

Mix: Nope! Not even possible.

He smiled, excited to watch more. Saten smiled too, then kissed him on the cheek.

Saten: Thanks Mix. But you're playing too!

As Mix was busy blushing, she pulled him up onto the player two platform.

Mix: W-Wha?!

Saten: Hehehe! Come on! I'll teach you!

That's just what she did. Together, they spent the rest of their time there playing DDR. Both being as happy as can be.
