Soon enough, EM could see their destination.
Somewhere along the endless rows of massive buildings, they could see an opening up ahead. There was ruble, so it was seemingly a collapsed building. There wasn't enough ruble for it to have been more than two stories though, which seemed strange.
Soon enough though, Kagetane stepped up onto a tall piece of debris. He stared at the approaching demon hoard, not reacting at all. They could see the blue haired girl standing behind him as well. She had a creepy excited look on her face..
When the group of demons got close, they stopped dead in their tracks.
EM: You're that girls father, I take it?
Kagetane: Yes, Kohina is indeed mine. I'm glad to see she delivered you're invitation! Although I don't recall it mentioning anything about so many plus ones.
EM: They're in case something goes wrong. I've had enough plans go to hell.
Honestly, EM knew he was taking a risk. Marching so many demons through the city obviously attracted attention. With how many people had powers and abilities in this world, EM didn't doubt he'd had enemies coming down on him any minute now. The lesser demons were to keep them busy so he could rush to his goal. That being Mix.
Kagetane: Well I suppose it doesn't matter much. If anything they'll at least entertain Kohina if our other guests fail to show up.
EM: Right.. you "invited" the kids friends too, right? Seems like you're toying with us all huh.
Kagetane: I'm simply moving things along a bit. And making it interesting, of course. No one likes a boring show after all.
EM: You want a good show? You can have one.
EM turned to Milim and Walker, and they got the message. Fight.
As they both stepped forward, Kagetane held up his hand to signal them to stop.
Kagetane: Before you come over here and do anything, allow me to introduce another of our guests to this little party.
EM: Hm?
A moment later, another demon came slowly walking out from the debris Kagetane stood atop. This one having the physical traits of a goat.
EM: The traitor..
Kagetane: More like a little surprise for the party.
Steve was somehow still alive. He was in his goat form, but his fur was purple this time. Almost funny since it had gone from blue to red before this. His eyes were completely black, as were his veins, which were all easy to see along his body. He was growling softly, as if he was a feral animal.
Milim: He's.. different..
Walker: I'd be careful. We don't know what's changed besides his appearance.
EM: I'm not worried. Only those who are weak become traitors.
Kagetane: Oh I promise you, he's far from weak. This time at least.
Steve then pulled his weapon off his back. The same massive sword he'd used all this time. Or maybe another one of it? It didn't really matter. Walker's hand went for his sword slowly as Steve started slowly approaching them once again.
Kagetane: Until our other guests arrive, please allow him to entertain you all.
EM: Stop playing around! Where is the kid!
Kagetane: That's none of you're concern yet.
EM: Yes. It is.
Kagetane: I think you have bigger concerns, honestly.
EM: Bigger? How!
That question was answered a few seconds later, as Steve began to become the bigger problem. A build sized problem, actually. He'd grown massive yet again.
Milim: I think that's how..
