A Rematch

As the bubble shattered, Ty launched himself up into the air as EM's lightning all crashed into the ground where he'd been standing. The ground where they landed was basically blown to bits immediately.

As Ty was in the air, he whipped himself around and shot a fireball off of each of his nine tails. EM jumped back and dodged them as they too cracked into the ground and caused similar destruction.

As Ty landed back on the ground and returned to human form, he saw a blur of green going down the staircase that led to Mix and Saten.

Ty, thinking: Save my friend, sword guy. Whatever your name is.

He was snapped out of his head as he heard a bang ring out from somewhere behind him, followed by EM's cheek being grazed by a bullet.

Ty, thinking: Tina! So I've got a sniper on my side. I'd call that a pretty nice advantage.

Without a word from either fighter, EM and Ty started clashing up close. Quickly closing the distance between them, Ty ignited his fists with his flames and began brawling with a mass of tentacles as EM put them between himself and his opponent. Ty had a bit of trouble punching through them, but luckily Tina's repeated sniper fire had them pulling back in pain after being pierced. When Ty finally got through all of them as Tina began to reload, he was immediately met with a scythe. Ty jumped over it and it's wielder, turning into a kitsune mid jump and landing behind EM. He then spun, creating a ring of fire with his tails around him that struck the demon in the back.

EM: Agh! Damn pest! I'll-

He stopped his threat as the ground rumbled unexpectedly. Both of them turned to see something new had entered the fight. A giant metal dragon.

EM: Ah.. another one of those damn things. Maybe it'll be able to get rid of that goat finally.

Ty then turned back into a human.

Ty: Heh. Maybe. Although he has gotten tougher not working for you anymore.

EM: Grrr.. Screw you, you damned mutt!

As all of EM's tentacles rose up and darted at Ty, they suddenly froze dead in their tracks as they took hits he hadn't expected.

Small metal picks had pierced each and every one of them, but their source couldn't be seen. It was if they'd just appeared there! Wait-

EM: AGHHH!!

He yelled out in pain as a current of electricity was fired off. It hit one of the picks, then was conducted to the others and shocked all of them at once.

Ty smirked as all his tentacles went limp, followed by several sniper shots striking their bases, making even more regeneration necessary. EM turned as Misaka and Shirai approached, having come up through the demon horde that was getting progressively smaller.

Misaka: Sorry we're late, Ty. Mind if we cut in?

Ty: Gladly. Four on one seems like a fun idea.

EM had been looking at the ground, but looks up and glares at Ty as he says this.

EM: Heh.. I couldn't agree more.

Since his tentacles hadn't been severed, they regenerated far faster than any of them had seen before. They all rose to life and swung out at his three nearby opponents who all began dodging the eight-pronged attack. As they avoided the demon's attack, Shirai managed to teleport more of her picks into his tentacles. The previous ones were still there, so this time when Misaka shocked them, the effect was even greater.

As EM yelled out in pain and frustration, his tentacles went limp to the ground again and he changed to using his scythe. Now it was Ty and Tina's turn to fight.

As Ty got in close and tried to get hits in while avoiding the scythe, Tina kept EM from getting too comfortable in one spot by constantly trying to put a bullet in his head. Her bullets did do some damage to the tentacles, but not a very significant amount so she'd waited for them to all be down to start firing.

Eventually after a lot of bullets missing and Ty occasionally landing a flaming punch on EM, his tentacles regenerated enough to move again, and a cycle was made.

The picks from before were still planted in the flailing appendages, but whenever they started to move again Shirai would add even more. When Misaka shocked them, they'd stay down for longer and longer times, giving Ty and Tina more time to try and take him out. This cycle happened four times, and EM had been punched at least a dozen times and taken a bullet to the shoulder. As his tentacles rose up the fifth time, everyone backed up to think for a second as this wasn't getting them too far.

Misaka: This isn't going too well.

Shirai: Agreed. We can keep him at bay but we can't seem to deal any significant damage.

Ty: Any idea how we can get said damage in?

Before anyone could suggest anything, Tina appeared from the sky. Landing next to them and retracting her metallic wings into a small pack on her back. She looked up at Ty with the same serious fact as always.

Tina: Morgan needs us, Tyler.

Ty: Alright but we've kinda already got our own situation here.

Misaka: Go on ahead, Ty.

Ty, You sure?

Misaka looked over at Shirai, who nodded in silent understanding.

Misaka: Yeah. We can take him.

Ty: If you say so. Good luck.

Shirai: Thanks. Same to you.

Ty: We'll probably need it. C'mon Tina, let's go!

As Tina took off to the sky and Ty ran off in fox form, Misaka and Shirai looked at their opponent, EM.

Shirai: We've taken on bigger fights before, haven't we?

Misaka: Heh. Yeah, I guess we have. C'mon. Let's go handle this guy.
