The next think Mix knew he felt like tons and tons of bricks were falling on his head. It didn't exactly hurt though.. which confused Mix, who had ended up closing his eyes and looking down after shouting. Honestly, he was afraid to look.
Wait a second. He could look. Meaning he was conscious.
Mix, thinking: And I don't feel like I'm buried.. I'm standing. Am I fine..?
Slowly, Mix opened his eyes, only to be met with a very unexpected sight.
Mix, thinking: I'm.. looking down on the city?
He stood there for a moment, having completely no idea what had happened. Until he looked down at himself that is, and saw Frozen Soldier.
Mix, thinking: Oh yeah.. I tried to activate soldier at the last second with that different command.. I guess it worked. He seems taller than normal though. And.. I'm seeing out of his eyes again. Plus I feel.. weird. What did I do..??
Mix turned to the side to look around, only to find he felt as if he was soldier turning to the side.
Mix: What the..?
He held out his arm, and found that soldier's moved too. He then pressed his hand into the side of the building to his right gently, and found he could feel it through soldier's hand.
Mix: Am I.. him?
Mix, thinking: Wait, maybe that's actually it.. It did say fusion after all. But.. that's crazy! How the hell does that even work?! And is this really just because I wanted to protect Saten? Wait, SATEN!
Looking around himself frantically, Mix didn't see Saten on the ground. Then it dawned on him he had his fist clenched gently, and it felt like he was holding something.
Mix: Don't tell me..
Holding his hand out in front of himself, he found what he was looking for. Saten, literally standing in the palm of his- or soldier's hand.
Mix: Saten! Are you alright?
Saten: I.. I think so. What happened? Why is your voice coming out of Frozen Soldier's head..? Shouldn't I not be able to hear you in there?
Mix: Um.. About that. I think I kinda.. fused with him?
Saten: Seriously? Wow.. That's incredible! And weird. But still it's incredible!
Mix: Yeah that's how I feel about it. I think he's bigger than normal, too.
Saten: Huh.. Maybe you're different than soldier is normally.
Mix: Maybe. Let me get you to-
He was gonna say safety, as Saten was still hurt, but he stopped as he heard an incredibly loud crashing sound. Following the source of the sound, he turned to see a mech combination go flying through a city block. Steve having thrown them by the leg.
Mix: They're being thrown around like a rag doll.. literally.
Saten: Yeah.. You should go help them.
Mix: Mhmm. I've gotta get you away from this though. We don't need you getting crushed.
Saten: Oh, right. Maybe we can find Shirai?
Mix: SHIRAI!
He didn't exactly think that through, he just yelled her name. Seeing as he was massive, he figured his voice would carry to wherever she was. Since she was close bye, she soon appeared up on Mix's hand as well.
Shirai: Jeez, could you have been any louder!
Mix: Sorry about that.. Listen, Saten's hurt. Can you get her out of here?
