Mix and the sword wielding Guardian quickly made their way over to the five massive Terrors that had appeared in the distance. They stood in the road, looking up at the monsters.
Uncle: You ready?
Mix nodded as he reached into his bag and pulled out Frozen Soldier, which had been buried under the throwing stars. His partner for the battle pulled out the serpent as well.
Mix: You think we can do the merging thing?
Uncle: Won't know until we try I guess. Let's do this!
They both held out the small action figured sized robots and activated them.
Mix, Uncle: Access link, go!

The next thing Mix knew, he was inside Frozen Soldier once again. He quickly scrambled to put the coin into the ground, as it had appeared in his hand, then smacked the motion controls button as fast as he could reach it. The solider then began to mimic the movements of its pilot.
Mix: You in yet?
Uncle: I'm here.
His voice came from the side, as Mix had expected. The soldier looked to the left to see the serpent, coiled around a tall building, looking ready to strike.
Uncle: Let's see if we can fight them as we are now.
Mix: sounds good to me!
The soldier than ran forward, charging straight towards the small group of large Terrors. He punched one in the head, then a second in the stomach. He then kicked a third one's legs out from under it, knocking it to the ground. His training had paid off.
Uncle: Nicely done. Duck!
He did so as countless tentacles came at him from all sides, just barely missing him as the soldier had ducked just in time. A moment later, a massive beam of electricity shot through them all, destroying them completely.
Mix: Phew. Thanks!
Uncle: Don't mention it. Strike now!
He did as the serpent pilot said, kicking a Terror into another, then punching another several times. Despite the soldier winning in terms of fist fighting them, he wasn't causing much damage to them. Both pilots realized this, and were about to comment on it as all the Terror's tentacles regenerated, and completely ensnared the soldier.
Mix: Crap! I'm stuck!
He tried to force his way out, but their grips were too tight. The soldier was completely stuck for the Terrors to tear into. However, they were stopped by a flash of green that shot all around their prey, slicing their tentacles clean off again.
