As Mix laid there, silently and alone in the darkness of his room, he wasn't trying to sleep. Instead, he was waiting.
It was safe to say that if any of his friends spotted him leave the building, they'd stop him from going after Kagetane. So, he waited. They'd all go to sleep eventually. So that's when he'd make his move. He waited at least two hours, as he was guessing somebody was likely waiting near his door, listening in case he tried to leave. And apparently he was right, as he eventually heard someone walk away from the door.
Mix, thinking: Welp.. Time to go.
Very slowly, Mix sat up and slid out of bed. Slowly because it still hurt to move. Despite this though, he was determined to save Saten now.
Slowly making his way around the room, Mix gathered up everything he was gonna need. His bag, full of throwing stars, his phone, earbuds, a hoodie and Frozen Soldier. Mix stared at soldier for a while, not sure what to think of it anymore.
Mix: You've done some strange things since I met you.. But all of it has helped me. I don't understand you, bu thank you. I'd still have a bullet hole in me if it wasn't for you, after all.
He then slips soldier into the bag, despite it not actually being part of the plan. If anything, soldier was for if everything went horribly, horribly wrong. And hey, you never know, right?
Slipping the hoodie over his shirt, Mix flipped the hood up and slung the bag over his shoulder. Plugging the earbuds into his phone and putting one is his ear, he slowly made his way over to the window. He slid it open slowly, now wanting to make too much noise.
Mix: Admittedly, I don't stand a chance if I go in guns blazing. Or, stars blipping, I guess. But.. If I can get her out quietly, then..
He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, then blips away, off into the sky.
Mix: Then I can save her. Heh.. Listen to me, sounding like a hero.. And here I thought I'd brushed that future under the rug. Well, under the bed. Regardless.. I will save her.
