That same night, Kagetane wasn't wasting any time, already getting to work on his plan.
Kohina: Papa, what are you doing to the goat guy?
Kohina was referring to the rather.. disturbing sight before her. Steve was down on his knees, sweating buckets and panting like he'd ran a marathon. Kagetane was standing over him, one of his custom made guns in hand. They were doing this in the middle of a forest, somewhat near UA.
Kagetane: Oh nothing, Kohina. Just giving our friend here a bit of a booster shot. Or twenty.
He fired his gun, sending a bullet into Steve's back. He screamed as red electricity coursed through his body, followed by the bullet hole healing almost immediately. He'd now done that ten times.
Kohina: Are you killing him?
Kohina tilted her head curiously. An excited glint suddenly in her eyes.
Kohina: Can I help!!
Kagetane shook his head no as he fired another bullet, followed by the same result.
Kagetane: No, my foolish daughter. I told you, I'm giving him some boosters.
Another bullet. Twelve now.
Kagetane: Once he's taken them all, he'll be stronger than before. That is..
Another bullet.
Kagetane: If he survives the ordeal.
Another.
Kagetane: Most humans would die after receiving so many of these custom bullets. However, this one here isn't human. Meaning he should be able to handle more of them.
Another shot. Now fifteen. Steve looked like he was about to pass out.
Kohina: Ohhhhhh.. So when can I kill people?
Kagetane: In the morning, dear. Assuming someone gets in the way of my plan, at least. And knowing the Guardians, someone will. They always do after all.

Kagetane: So, my horned friend.

Kagetane: Think you'll survive?

Kagetane: Or maybe this will be to much for you.
Another one.
Kagetane: Time to find out..
Bang, the final bullet. This time the electric shock was far stronger than all the last. Steve screamed louder than before as well, before collapsing to the dirt.
Kagetane continues to stand over him, lightly kicking him in the head a few times.
Kagetane: Hmm, how disappointing. Seems he died.
Kagetane then turns and begins to walk away from the corpse he had just created. Until of course, it spoke.
Steve: No...
Kagetane: Oh?
He turned back to face the goat man.
Steve grabbed at the dirt, trying to push himself up from the ground. After a bit of struggle, he managed to kneel, then eventually stand.
Steve: I wouldn't.. die that easily..
He seemed worn out, obviously, but also he was different now. Physically, that is. His eyes as well as his hair had turned from blue to red. His horns seemed a bit longer too.
Kagetane: Ah, what a surprise! I thought for sure you'd die once all of it hit your system.
Steve scoffed, despite clearly almost dying just now.
Steve: It's take a hundred more of those things to keep me down.
Kohina: Eh, I could take his head easily.
Kagetane: Good to know. Now that you've successfully got your booster shots, it'll be time to play when the morning comes. After all..
Kagetane's eyes glowed blue behind his mask as he activated an ability, Clairvoyance. With it, he could see all the way over to UA.
To the dorms..
Into a certain room..
Kagetane: Hehe, it would appear m'boy Mix has a special someone.
Kohina: Can I kill them?
Kagetane: No, Kohina.
He brushed off his daughter's repeated requests for murder as if they were common.
Kagetane: It means we can have even more fun with our game than anticipated.
