The two victorious mech pilots deactivated the mechs and went to rejoin the others. When they got back, the fight was over.
Ty: Mix, hey! You missed all the fun over here!
Mix: Trust me, you missed out bud.
Ty: Oh yeah?
Mix: Did you fight in a giant robot? Didn't think so.
Morgan: Did you use the merging technique?
Uncle: It worked like a charm as always. Where's the new girl?
Morgan: Skull retreated a little while ago. We were winning, actually.
Tina: She became a shadow and I couldn't detect her anymore.
Morgan: Another one who merges with shadows... always creepy.
Ty: Anyway, we won!
Mix: Yeah!
Mix and Ty high fives victoriously.
Morgan: Hehe, I'd say that gets you out of training for the night, wouldn't you agree, Uncle?
Uncle: I suppose so.
He smiled, which Mix wasn't sure if he'd seen before.
Uncle: Go, have some fun tonight.
Mix: Will do. Thanks!
Ty: Hehe, finally gonna spend some time with your girlfriend?
Mix blushed at the sudden comment.
Mix: S-She's not- I mean I- ... grrrr...
Ty smirked as Mix stopped being a dummy, then teleported off. Headed right for UA so he can go spend some time with Saten.
Ty: Sooo.. what do we do then?
Tina: I'm going back to Morgan's room.
Ty: She's bunking with you?
Morgan: Not officially, but she needs a place to stay while we're here, so she's with me, yeah. As for Uncle..
Uncle: I sleep in a tree, out by where I train you and Mix.
Ty: Seriously..?
He nods.
Uncle: Would you rather a rent a hotel room? I came here with a katana not money.
Ty: Fair enough I guess. Anyway, I'm out too. Gonna spend the night with my girlfriend, since I've got time.
Morgan: Have fun.
Ty nodded, then waved goodbye as he took off. Into the sky.
Recently he had picked up a new trick, and had been practicing it while training with Morgan's Uncle. By shooting continuous streams of flame from his hands and feet, he could kinda fly. Or at least propel himself in directions really fast. He couldn't maintain it for very long, but the trip back to UA wasn't too long. Morgan couldn't help but laugh as she watched the unsteady streak of fire make its way through the sky.
Tina: I've never seen such an unstraight line of flight.
Morgan: At least he's not crashing.
Uncle: True, he's not anymore. He's hit a lot of trees this week learning that.
Morgan: Heh. Come on Tina, let's walk back.
Tina: Why not fly?
Morgan: A calm trip sounds nice after the fight, doesn't it?
Tina: I suppose so. Sure.
Uncle: I'll be on my way then.
He suddenly glowed green and vanished, leaving at a speed no one could hope to follow.
Morgan and Tina then head off the way Mix and Ty had went, all planning on having a peaceful night.
Planning on it, anyways.
