I'M BACK GUYS!! :) I know it's been a while, but I think you'll really like this one :)

I've started watching the TV show House again lately and I'm become mega obsessed again, so I wanted to do a medical sort of story :) I did a lot of research and stuff since I had the first idea, but I'm not a doctor, so it might not be 100% accurate :P

I'll put up some more info soon about actors and things, but I just wanted to get the 1st chapter of Diagnosing Attraction out :)

I hope you like the new story!!

CHAPTER ONE

"Is this new doctor going to find out what's wrong with me?" Danielle asked me, as we waited in her hospital room for the doctor she was talking about.

"Hopefully, because he's supposed to be the best," I'll believe that when he finds out what is wrong with my sister.

"Well they said the last two doctors were the best in their field too," she sighed and fell back against the pillows on her bed.

"But this guy is apparently the best doctor in the whole hospital, so hopefully this time it's true." I know how frustrated she is and why she's so sceptical about this new doctor, because I'm frustrated for her. We've already been here for a week now and after two doctors, my sister is still lying in a hospital bed with no diagnosis.

"I just want to go home and for everything to go back to the way it was."

"I know and hopefully this guy can finally figure out what's going on," I gave her a reassuring smile. "If he ever turns up," I added on, since he was meant to be here twenty minutes ago. For being the best doctor in the hospital, he really needs to work on his time keeping skills.

"You know you don't have to spend all day here with me, you can just be here for when the doctor needs to talk to you." She pushed herself up slightly and looked over at me smiling slightly. I wouldn't say this to her, because I know she'll not like it, but she really does look exhausted. Her face was completely pale and, because she's been feeling ill and hadn't been eating well, her cheeks were starting to look hollow.

"Why wouldn't I stay here? I'm not going to just leave you here on your own," I laughed and leant forward in my chair.

"You've already missed a week of work, you can go back and come here when you're finished. You're probably bored spending all day here as well," she smiled slightly and brought her knees up to her chest.

"Work know what's going on and are happy to give as much time off as I need, so don't worry about it. I'm not going to let you sit here on your own and it's not like I'm here twenty-four seven." I couldn't let Dani stay here all day on her own, she's only eleven and I would worry about leaving her alone. I know she's in a hospital so she'll be safe and she'll have nurses and doctors, but I want to be here with her in case something happens. I already worry about her at night when I go home, so I'd rather be with her during the day.

"Hopefully we don't have to stay here much longer, because I'm starting to get really bored."

I laughed and folded my arms on her bed, "I'll bring some more stuff in with me tomorrow, just tell me what you want." I haven't brought much of her things from home, because we really didn't think she would be in this long.

"I want this doctor to hurry up and tell me what he thinks is going on or what he's going to do different from the other two doctors." She let out an irritated groan and rested her head against the wall, making me smile in amusement. As if on cue, the door to the room opened and a man walked into the room.
