Hey guys! How're you doing? :)

So as I was finishing this chapter, Harry Potter had just started on the TV & I literally just sat down to watch it... Then the fire alarm went off... :/ I was not a happy bunny! And it was the Goblet of Fire as well which, after the Prisoner of Azkaban, is my favourite one! I was nearly ready to kill the person who set it off! I also got mild heart palpitations every time Snape came on ;)

CHAPTER FIFTEEN

"How are we feeling today Dani?" Dr Reid smiled at her as he came into the room with a nurse, making his way over to Dani and sitting down opposite her.

"Pretty good, glad to finally get all of this over and finished with," he laughed and sat up on the chair.

"I'm sure you are, it's about time you were rid of this place," he looked down at his lap and opened up a file. "So today is going to be a longer day than normal," he began to explain to us what's happening today. "You've got a MRI scheduled in ten minutes, so that's the first thing we need to do. So that'll take about half an hour, then we'll give you your radiotherapy and do some other check-ups. But we'll take it one thing at a time," he glanced back up at her and smiled.

"What sort of check-ups?"

"Just some routine ones to make sure everything went the way we wanted it to and that everything is back to normal, if not nearly there. We'll check your general health and then we'll see how the physio has gone and if you need any more sessions." He explained to her and she nodded, but she didn't think that she would be here for that long. We just thought she would have her MRI and her radiotherapy, which we thought would only take half an hour to forty minutes.

"It really is going to be a long day then," Dani laughed and glanced over at me.

"I know, so I think we should get stuck straight in and get you ready for your MRI. Nurse Walsh has a gown her for you and she'll bring you to the MRI, while I go and get it set up." He nodded towards the nurse who came in with him, who smiled at us when we looked over at her. "Normally I would say you can stay with her, but it'll be long and boring for you. You can stay with her by all means if that's what you guys want, I just thought it'll be long for you as well Amelia."

"Yeah we've already talked about it, I don't want to get in the way, so I'm going to give you some space and just meet you guys after." I had already talked to Dani about it and she said she didn't mind going through it herself, but that was before I knew it'd take so long.

"Well we'll try and get everything done as quickly as we can," he smiled at us and stood up. "I'll let you get sorted and I'll head next door and get everything ready," he stepped out of the way and let the nurse walk to Dani.

"See you in there," Dani smiled at him and Dr Reid smiled, before he left the room.

"Just head in there and get changed, then we'll head next door when you're ready," Nurse Walsh smiled at her.

"Thanks," Dani took the dressing gown from her and stood up from her seat.

"Are you okay to sit through all of this on your own? We didn't think it was going to take this long when we talked about it." I didn't want to leave her on her own for too long, even know that I know she's old enough to handle it on her own. But when we talked about it and she said she was fine if I went to lunch with Harrison, we didn't think she would be here that long.

"Yeah I'm fine on my own, there's no point you waiting around for me to finish," she glanced over at me and smiled.

"If you need anything just text me or phone me," I let out a breath and stood up, bending down to pick up my bag.
