Hey guys! :)

Sorry it's taken a while, but I started Uni on Monday and I wasn't really happy with one of my modules, so I had to switch. So hopefully I'll get it changed tomorrow!

I am planning on staying up tonight to watch the Super Bowl, but I'm already tired, so I don't think it'll happen :P I don't have class tomorrow until 3, but I do have to get up early :/

Guys... The Walking Dead is only a week away!!!! I have been waiting for it to come back for soooooo long!! I've missed it so much. And Better Call Saul comes back on the 15th too, so I'm going to have so much stuff to watch :P

CHAPTER FORTY-ONE

"You don't mind if I sit here do you?" Brad appeared in front of me, setting his try on the table and pulling a chair out.

"Yeah I do actually," I sat back in my chair and smiled at him slightly.

"Tough, I'm your boss and I'll sit where I want," he smiled back at me smugly, as he sat down opposite me. I rolled my eyes and looked back down at my plate, to go back to eating my lunch. "Where is everybody anyway? Did the rest of the staff just decide to have their lunch somewhere else?"

"I don't know, there was nobody here when I got here," I was surprised to see that the staff section of the dining hall was empty.

"You probably scared them away, since you lack any stimulating conversational skills," he picked up his cutlery as if he was innocent in what he said.

"I beg to differ since you chose to sit there," I was actually glad to have some company.

"How's your day going?" He ignored what I said, choosing to ask me a question and turn his attention to his food.

"Fine, nothing unusual or startling happening," I've actually had a pretty boring day since Robbie was on a trip. "Robbie is actually behaving on the trip, so at least I don't have to shout at him on Monday," I was thinking he would act up a little bit.

"There's still time," he chuckled slightly and glanced up at me.

"How has your day been?"

"Quiet for a change, the weather must have changed and affected the kids," he sat back in his seat. "I've only had to talk to two students who are a pain, maybe this is the turning point to having zero pain in my arse kids." He did have a constant flow of kids going into his office, since he was in charge with discipline in the school, before the headmaster has to get involved.

"You might not want that to happen, you'd be out of the job if you didn't have anyone to shout at." I know he does more than shout at kids in trouble, there wouldn't be a member of staff that would have a bad word to say about him.

"We both know that my personality would be enough to keep me in the job," he smirked at me. "There's actually been talk that Howard is retiring in two years," he lowered his voice, even though there was nobody around us.

"He's not that old though," I wouldn't have guessed that the principal would be retiring soon.

"Well he's fifty-nine now, so he'll be near enough at retirement age in two years," he shrugged slightly. "And most principals retire around sixty anyway, so it's not really that surprising," he explained.

"Are you going to apply for the job then?" I think he would be an amazing principal, the staff and the students love and respect him.

"I was thinking about it, I just haven't talked to my wife about it yet," he smiled slightly.
