Hey guys! :)
Sorry it's been so long again, but I've been busy studying for my exams, which start on Monday :( So I haven't had the chance to write the new chapter and I haven't been in the right head space to sit down and write it. But my exams finish on the 16th, then I have two weeks off, so I'll try and finish this book up and possibly do a sequel. Depends on how I want to end it :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~CHAPTER THIRTY-EIGHT
"I thought you weren't going out until this weekend?" I looked down and Dani and smirked, as we walked across the playground.
"I know, but Lauren asked me to come over to her house for dinner," Dani smiled hopefully. "I'll not be out all night, it's only the third day back," she kept trying to persuade me.
"And how are you getting home?" I stopped outside the entrance to the main building, turning to face her.
"She said her mum will drop me home when she's picking Lauren's brother up, so I'll be home around half ten."
"I guess that's alright, but no later than half ten," I don't mind her going out, as long as it's not too late and she's out all the time. "I've got a lunch meeting with Mr Peters now and I'm in classes the rest of the day, so I probably won't see you the rest of the day. Text me when you get to Lauren's house so I know you got there, then text me when you're on your way home." I know she's only twelve, but I was that age when I started to go out with my friends more and I don't think she'll be any different.
"Yeah I will," she nodded at me, but she also rolled her eyes as she's heard it all before.
"I have to go, but I'll see you later tonight," I was already late meeting up with Brad.
"Right okay, I'll see you later," she smiled at me briefly, before turning and walking away. I walked up the steps to the main building, then I made my way down the hallway and towards Brad's office. Once I reached his office, I knocked on his door and waited for him to answer.
"Come on in," he shouted through the door and I went into his office. "Hey Amy, how's it going?" He smiled over at me as I shut the door, before making my way toward his desk.
"Yeah I can't complain," I smiled and sat down on one of the chair opposite him, on the other side of his desk.
"Well I'm glad someone's having a good day," he laughed and leant forward against his desk.
"Having a bad day Brad?"
"Don't even ask, how I wish it was still the Christmas break," he shook his head lightly. "I thought I'd have a relatively easy and quiet week to ease back into it, but it's like some of the kids don't want me to have that." He let out breath and rand his hand through his hair, before looking back over at me.
"The day is nearly over, just a few more hours and you can leave," I laughed slightly.
"I know, but my in-laws are coming over for dinner tonight," he gave me an unimpressed look. "And let's just say I'm still trying to impress her dad, even after ten years of being together and eight years of marriage."
"Sounds like fun," I couldn't help but remember that, I'll never meet Harrison's parents and he'll never meet mine. The only family that we'll really ever meet, is each other's siblings, which I never really thought about before.
"So, how's Robbie getting on now that school has started again?" He moved away from talking about his in-laws, to talk about the main reason why I was here.
