Hey guys! Sorry it's been a while, but it's here now!

My phone fell out of my pocket today and my screen cracked :( I've never cracked my phone before & I rang someone to get a quote, which was £90... It's so annoying because I'm always so careful with my phone and the one time I'm an idiot and don't put it in my pocket fully, it cracks...

Though I did go to the zoo the other day & I saw a tiger for the very first time :) It took me 20 years, but I finally saw my favourite animal!

Anyway, Please Vote, Comment, Become a Fan, Like my FB Page & Follow me on Twitter :D

Enjoy!!!

P.S. I don't think there will be much more to this story, I'm not sure how far I want to take it. But I shall let you know!

CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE

"When's Dr Harper getting here for dinner?" Dani asked as she walked into the kitchen, making her way over to me and sitting at the breakfast bar.

"He text me about ten minutes ago to say he was leaving his house, so he shouldn't be too much longer," I answered her. Harrison lives about fifteen or twenty minutes from our house, so he should be here in the next ten minutes.

"What are we having?"

"Chicken," I glanced over at her, as I made my way towards the oven. "Did you get your homework finished?" I know she had the day off from school, but she's already missed a lot of the work and I don't want her to fall behind anymore. Not because it's important stuff that she'll only get taught this year and that's it, but if she misses anymore she'll feel like she missed a lot, especially when exams come around.

"Not yet, I'm just about to finish it, but I wanted to ask you something first," she leant forward onto the table. "Can sign this for me please?" She asked as I closed the oven door, putting the gloves on the handle and then turned to face her.

"I'll have to read it first," I laughed and walked over to her, before pulling out the hair beside her and sitting down. "What is it?" I let out a breath and took the piece of paper from her, whilst leaning on the table.

"There's a trip to Winter Wonderland on the nineteenth for the first years," she explained briefly, as I read over the form.

"An overnight trip," I added, once I had read on the form that they were staying at a hotel near the Wonderland. I surprised that I didn't hear that the school had organised this trip, because I usually know about all the trips and events.

"But only for one night, we'd be back early the next afternoon," she tried to persuade me to let her go.

"I don't know Dani, I'll have to think about," I don't really like the idea of her going away, even if it is only overnight. I know it'll be good for her, but after everything that's happened with the second tumour, I'd rather know she's completely tumour free first. "We'll have to talk about it with Dr Reid and see what he thinks," I think he'll say that she's fine to go.

"He'll probably say it's alright for me to go, he said it was alright to go to school," she was really trying to convince me to let her go.

"I still want to talk to him and see what he has to say," I set the form down in front of me. "When does the form have to be in for?"

"Next Friday at the latest, they need to know numbers as soon as possible," she stood up from her seat and walked over to the fridge.

"I'll let you know by Friday, after we talk to Dr Reid and I've had time to think about it," I smiled at her, as she got a bottle of water from the fridge.
