Dream and George pulled out in front of the facade. The structure was already dirty white and glassy. Dream and George walked side by side. Dream's arms draped on George's small shivering waist. George was not shivering because of the cold, in fact, it was warm outside yet his hoodie and sleeves covered his whole body. He could feel the judgemental look from afar. Dream's position was sharp, protective and his head held high whilst George's was looking down at the cement, scared and ashamed.
The tiled floor that once was cement, filled George's vision. The cold air conditioner hit his hoodie that seeped through the fabric making his goosebumps grow from the sudden change of the temperature. The building was quiet except for the constant shuffling of actions and keyboards clicking. The quiet building made George scared. Heckling. What would they think of him?
He was very worried that he started to get lightheaded. His mind was filled with thoughts until it overflowed. His feet mindlessly tapped the tiles, his under shoe made soft thudding noise. His hands that were once clasped on his lap now intertwined with his lover's warm hands. The warmth that seems to radiate through his whole body made him sigh and sink a bit on his seat. He probably looked pathetic from a bystander's perspective. He could feel the tears behind his eyes, stinging his eyeballs like a pack of needles.
A woman emerged from the hallway. Brown hair and brown eyes. Just like him. It made him want to throw up. The woman approached them with shaking their hands. George could feel his muscles tense like hell but tried his best to not make it obvious but that doesn't seem to work as Dream shot him and worried and confused gaze. George just softly shrugged. The woman invited him towards the hallway leaving Dream behind but not before Dream got to whispered a small 'I love you' in George's ears.
George followed the woman in the hallway. The once short hallway seemed to turn endless. Every step made it stretched out more. His eyes, mind, and vision are again playing with him. The hallway made him remember something. Remember it. The hallway came back to its original form as the woman invited him inside a room.
George quietly followed the woman inside. The walls were colored creamy brown. In the middle was a wooden desk, things were scattered on top of it. On the other side were two(2) matte black chairs. The room was very homely in George's opinion. George sat on one of the chairs as the woman started to talk,
"Hi! George right?" The woman greeted with its cheerful attitude as George slowly nodded.
"I'm your therapist for today and you can call me Hannah," Hannah said.
"Don't worry no one's gonna hurt you, it's just us right now, so don't be afraid to say anything okay? Knock yourself out, you're safe" Hannah reassured. I'm safe? George thought. The word seemed so unfamiliar in his head like it doesn't exist. Hannah continued and said some things but it was blurred and mumbled in his head. The mumbled rambling continued as one question cleared his hearing,
"So can you tell me what happened?" George tensed as he shot the clock and look and notice that it already had been twenty(20) minutes. Damn.
"U-uhm..." George stuttered out. He could feel the rushing tears out of his brown irises. Before he knew it, he broke down in front of Hannah, shamefully. Hannah patiently waited for George looking at him with obvious sad eyes. The figure in front of her seemed so broken from the inside and outside. She could feel herself tearing up but kept his composure being the professional she is.
George let out a huge sigh before starting to reminisce again, the thing that he told himself not to but the homely atmosphere and the sympathy that radiate through Hannah made him,
"I- I was walking around the school, b-because my head was p-pounding and I felt like- passing out. Then I felt firm hands tugged on my shoulder dragging me to the bathroom. His brown hair and brown eyes seemed to be stuck in my head. He is a b-bully that is a pervert. He started to roll down my pants and s-started to- y'know and I tried my best to get out of there but I can't I was weak and hopeless so I stayed. I just cried until he stopped until my sobs were quiet that my mouth only agape leaving no signs of noise. Everything hurts. It was so painful that i- that the ache in my head started to get numb. My mind was empty. I fucking hate him. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him!"
George started to explain from scared to angry. He was furious that he's so weak and that he couldn't even try. He felt used and now useless after everything but giving all of his feelings out faded the heavy metals that were once stayed put on his shoulders. He caught his breath as he put his head back. His tear-stained face reflected the light from the ceiling.
"I'm very proud of you George" George closed his eyes. Proud.
"I expected for you to slack but you didn't. You are very brave for everything. I can see how broken you are but I can also see how you will heal. You'd have a happy life someday and that you may be not proud of yourself but I'm telling you one day you'll make it. I bet that you felt relieved. I'm happy for you to explain everything. Don't think about the negatives okay? You and I and everyone else is supposed to look at the bright side. Blue or not. Do not worry. You'll be okay."
She smiled at George that made George's lips itch and tug into a small smile. He did in fact get relieved. He felt happiness and confidence for so long. He can't wait to hug Dream and kiss him and tell him everything.
They talked for a while. Hannah letting George talk about Dream and how Dream is with George. Hannah felt jealous though not because he doesn't want George to be happy but because she wanted to find someone that will also make her happy. They gave comforting words to each other and actually became really great friends.
"So I guess we're done I'll see you next week and good luck. I'm very proud of you George" George and Hannah shook their hands together before Hannah dismissed George. George walked through the hallway. The hallway did it again but he didn't get intimidated even once. He ran and hugged Dream. Dream's eyes widen and sparked as he hugged George back, lovingly. They stood there for a minute enjoying each other's embrace.
"I guess it went well?" Dream said in a smile which made George nod and giggles. Oh, that giggle that Dream missed so much. He hugged George again and rode back home. Dream felt proud of George and also himself. A smile was displayed on both of their faces that didn't leave, even through their rest. They were once in harmony.
