- 3rd POV -

A man came rushing to a hospital. He seemed pretty agitated and out of breath as he ran to the reception and asked for a person.
"Yes, (Y/N)-san got admitted here." The nurse confirmed and after saying that he was her teacher, she told him the room the girl stayed in right now after they had tended to her injuries.

20 minutes ago, he had received word from the hospital that a student with the name (Y/N) got brought to the hospital due to an incident while she was on a patrol mission. She had hit her head and had immediately fallen unconscious because of it.
He got the permission to go see her even though she still hadn't awaken yet. And so, after he had found the room, he quietly opened the door and his eyes immediately wandered to search for his girlfriend. Once they found her, his body also started to the small figure that laid on the bed.
Her eyes were shut closed and her body was almost still apart from her chest that slowly moved up and down. An oxygen mask covered her mouth as well as her nose and an IV drip was attached to her arm. And if this was not enough, she also had a bandage thickly wrapped around her forehead.
It looked like she was about to open those closed eyes any moment but that was not the case. She remained motionless.

Shota took a seat by her side and clasped her hand in his', squeezing them tight as he stared at her face in the hopes to meet her eyes when they opened. But they didn't.

Moments later, the sound of the door startled him and he abruptly let go of her hand before turning around to face the doctor who entered the room.
"You're the patient's teacher am I right?" the doctor asked him. Shota answered with a yes and so the doctor continued to say, "(random pro hero name)-san, who was in charge of the mission told me what happened. Since you're her teacher, you also have the right to know." And so he started to tell him the incident that had occurred 2 hours ago.

After hearing what had happened, Shota let out a very deep sigh. But he did not know what feeling this sigh was exactly revealing. It may had been because he felt that he should have never let her go today but it also could mean that he felt that something was going to happen. Though, he could not point a finger on the latter thought.

Shota had stayed with her for the rest of the day until he had to go home. But he decided to visit her everyday from now on. All he hoped for, was for (Y/N) to wake up and get better as soon as possible.

Two weeks had passed by and Shota was visiting (Y/N) after he had finished work just like always. She still hadn't regained consciousness yet. And just like all the days before, he sat by her side and observed her unmoved features while holding her hand. But the longer he watched her, the deeper his frown got.
Why won't she wake up? That was what he had thought all the time and it made him feel more and more uneasy as all he saw was the same sight over and over again.

But finally after three weeks, there was a drastic change of (Y/N)'s state.
Shota was once again sitting by her side and had her smaller hand in his'. He was just about to nod off but something made him abruptly open his eyes. At first, it was only a little movement with the index finger but slowly after that small twitch, her eyes fluttered open little by little until they were fully ajar.

The man couldn't tell how he felt right now. It was somewhat a mix of relief and happiness with many other emotions that overcame him as he wanted to leap forward to close her in an embrace. But the next thing that happened kept him from doing it.

"Who..." Eyes that seem unsure and bewildered gazed up to him. His eyes widened and his heart felt heavy. The happy emotions he had felt just a moment ago, immediately drained down the sink and all he was left with now was a feeling of emptiness.

"Who are you?"
