By Your Side // Aizawa Shota X Reader

Summer break was approaching really fast. And your class were to go to a summer break forest lodge.
"However", Aizawa said, "should any of you fall short of a passing grade for the end-of-term test then you're stuck in school in remedial hell."

So you decided to do your best with studying.

When class ended, you were still sitting on your desk and stared in your math book.
"Are you not going to go (Y/N)-chan, ribbit?" Tsuyu asked you when you weren't making any moves to go out if the classroom. "I'll study a bit more before I go." you replied. "Well then, see you tomorrow." Tsuyu said and waved goodbye. You waved back and said, "See you!"

When she also left, it was quite in the room, perfect for you to concentrate.
You went through all the tasks of the themes you had been doing in the lessons so far and solved them again to check if you really understood them.
After some time, you came to a math problem you couldn't solve.
You were thinking of a way to solve it and you were so concentrated, that you didn't notice that someone had entered the classroom.

"You can't solve it?" The sudden voice that was so close to you, made you jump in fright. When you looked up and realized that it was your homeroom teacher, you let out a sight of relief.

"Do you have to scare me like that? I almost had a heart attack..." you mumbled as your eyes darted away from the man.

"Sorry... So is there something you need help with?" he asked, directing his attention on your exercise book.
"Yeah, it's this one." You pointed at the exercise.

After he took a look at it, he began to explain it to you. "You have to (...)"
"Now I understand it! Thanks Aizawa-Sensei."

As you were solving the many other problems and questions, your teacher sat beside you and aided you when you were stumbling on an exercise you had some difficulties with.
When you were sure that you understood everything, you went through all the other subjects.

Aizawa was helping you when you had problems with something.

Finally finished with studying, you stood up, ready to went to the infirmary, as your stomach suddenly started to growl. You freezed by the sound your stomach gave out, causing your face to flush.
Studying sure made you hungry...

A chuckle came from the male. "How about we go out and eat something?", he asked with a small grin on his face, "Something different than Lunch Rush's cooking."

"That's a good idea.", you mumbled, "Let me just change my clothes real quick."
With that said, you were rushing to the infirmary and removed your current school uniform from your body, only to slip into your street clothes.

When you came out of the room, Aizawa was already awaiting you in the hallway. "Let's get going, shall we? I already told Lunch Rush that you'd eat something different today."
So you went with Aizawa to a noodle shop. More like, you drove in his car.

There, Aizawa ordered two Karaageramen. You two enjoyed it.
But as you were eating, you threw glances at the man sitting across from you every now and then.
And it also made you wonder why he had invited you to eat with him.
At some point, the man caught your gaze, which made you quickly lower your eyes, right into your ramen.
"What's wrong with me? Why do I keep staring at him?" You could slap yourself for doing so. "He must think that I'm a total creep now..."

"What's wrong? Does it not suit your taste?" Aizawa asked you, as you were not eating. "No no.", you quickly said, "It's delicious. I was just thinking about some things. But it's nothing important to worry about."

When you were finished with eating, he wanted to pay for your meal but you refused. "Please don't do this. I'll feel bad if you do this for me. And I also have money. It's not that I'm broke or something."
You rushed in front of him to the counter and as you were taking out your purse, you felt a hand on your shoulder. You stopped at your track and turned your head to look at the older male. "We'd like to divide the cost." He said to the cashier.

Since you were alright with his decision, you nodded your head and you both paid each half of the total cost.
When you two exited the shop, he escorted you back to school up to the infirmary, before he said goodbye and left.

Once he was gone, you began to change your clothes into comfortable sleepwear. After that, you took out your books, lied down on the bed and revised everything all over again.

When you finished, you put all the things aside and just laid on the bed.
"Aizawa-sensei sure is nice... But it must be because he feels responsible for me since he's my homeroom teacher and I don't really have someone I can rely on... That must be it." You slowy fell asleep after these thoughts.
