• I had actually intended to publish a chapter of Setsubun on the 3rd of February but I didn't manage to finish it on time...
Either way, enjoy :) •

"Uhmmm... What's happening here?" You had just entered the classroom after you had overslept a little and had rushed to the school, only to be met with your classmates standing all scattered inside the room. When you shut the door after stepping inside, you watch the teenagers as they threw small, round things all over the place.

"Demons, begone!" Uraraka's voice was the loudest as they repeatedly shouted this one sentence over and over again whilst throwing those objects all around them. Curious as to what it was they kept on throwing, you bent down to pick one of it up. It was small enough for you to just hold it with your index finger and thumb. Only then did you figure out what it was. Those were roasted beans. And now they almost covered the floor.

"Oh right. Today's Setsubun." You had totally forgotten about this day because you had never really cared for it and so it had completely slipped your mind. But even when you remembered, you didn't think much of it and just casually walked to your seat, not joining your classmates with this traditional act.
"By the way, why isn't Shota here yet?" You looked at the clock but when you saw the time, you became speechless. There was still half an hour left before class was to start. It wasn't that you were late, you were actually quite early. You looked back at Midoriya and the others. "Don't tell me they all woke up early just so they could play in the classroom?" And you had wondered why no one hadn't woken you up. They probably didn't want you to wake you up so unnecessarily early because they thought you weren't the type to participate in these kinds of events. And they were right.

With a sigh, you rested your arms on your desk and put your head on them to sleep a little more before class was to start.

Your eyes slowly opened and as you slowly regained consciousness, the noises around you were gradually taking form. You rose up and looked at the clock again. 15 minutes before the bell to the first period was to ring. You stretched your arms in the air and just then, your body was screaming and alarming you to go to the toilet. So you jumped up and sped to the door.

When you returned, all the beans that had been on the floor had been cleaned up and were now gone. But when you saw one of your classmates, you switched to a state of panic. You saw that Yaoyorozu was holding your wallet. A quick gasp of surprise and panic escaped your mouth, even more so when you saw her beginning to open it. "Oh Yaoyoruzu! You found my wallet! Thank you, I was searching for it!" you quickly shouted through the room and walked to her with sped up steps. You reached out your hand for her to give it back to you.

There was a reason you were so desperate to get it back. The reason was because there was something inside your wallet that you didn't want anyone to see. Or better said, it was better for them not to see it. "I was just about to look who it belonged to." Yaoyoruzu said as she handed it to you. Once you got your hands on your wallet again, you checked that a certain something was still inside. When you saw a small piece of striped paper stuck in there, you sighed in relief. With the intention of stuffing your wallet deep inside your bag, you began to rush back to your seat.
"Is that wallet something precious to you?" Tsuyu suddenly appeared next to you and it made you jump and whip to the side where she stood. "Uhmm... yeah, sorta."
But just as you took a step, instead of moving forward, only your foot slid through the floor; a little too far though. And this caused your upper body to get dragged backwards. "Oh no."
You were already bracing yourself from the impact, but it seemed that you needn't do that.

You stopped falling midway. Something had prevented you from crashing to the floor. It didn't take you long to realize the cause when you saw your homeroom teacher's face above you.
This unexpected moment made your heart thump. Or maybe it was the fact that it was happening in front of all those eyes.

"Sho-A-Aizawa-Sensei!" you got nervous when you had almost called him with his given name and prayed that no one had noticed it.
Shota's arm was slung around your shoulder blades and kept you in the air. With a strong pull, he put you back on your feet. Then he turned towards his students and glared at them. "I see that you had fun playing around. But you could have done a better job at cleaning up your own mess."
Upon hearing him say that, Kaminari quickly picked up the single bean that had caused your slip to throw it into the trash can and everyone shattered to their seats.

But the fact that you could have gotten hurt wasn't any concern to you right now. Instead, you were desperately searching for your wallet which you had thrown somewhere while you had slipped.
The contents of your wallet had flown around and what had covered the floor just moments ago, was now replaced with coins and bills... And something else with it.
You hectically ran around to collect your money while searching the floor for your wallet. When you had spotted it, you quickly snatched it as if your life depended on it and looked through it. But you couldn't find a certain something.

Another wave of panic shot through you and your eyes were desperately searching for something once again. But no matter how much you ran through the class, you couldn't find it anywhere. "Are you searching for something?" asked Asui and it made you sweat-drop.
"Yeah... A... good-luck charm... from... my grandpa." you felt bad for lying like this. But that was the only thing you could come up with. Anxiety filled you. And it wasn't because of the fact that you had lost it. You were afraid that someone were to find the thing you had lost. Because if that were to happen, then it would spell trouble for not only you but also for Shota.

When class started, you couldn't concentrate as anxiousness was all you felt.
"Did no one see it?... What if someone found it but chose to keep quiet? Will they confront me about it later? Or even blackmail me?" Your thoughts kept on becoming more and more worse and before you knew it, it was already the end of the first two periods.
Still in a daze, you did not realise how the time had flown by and it was time for lunch now. Everyone had already left and so it was just you and Shota in the classroom.

"Something's wrong, right?" You now made the look of desperation on your face evident as you didn't try to hide it anymore and immediately told him what had happened.
"I see."
"I see?" You looked at him in disbelief. Was that really all he had to say to something this serious?
Just as you wanted to retort something, he stopped you by holding up the thing you had previously lost. With a small smile, he explained, "I found it when I entered the classroom. It's good that I was the first one to find it." He then grabbed your hand to drop it onto your palm. "Now then, put it somewhere a little bit safer so we can be sure that something like this isn't going to happen again in the future." You nodded, "Yeah." Before you stuffed it deep into your bag, you looked at it and smiled. It was the purikura picture strap of you and Shota. It really would have spelled trouble if it was someone else who had found it.

And with this, the rest of the day proceeded without another major incident.
