"This concludes today's lesson." Class 2A's homeroom teacher collected his things on the teacher's desk; and every student, including you were also starting to pack their unneeded books into their bags. As you were in the middle of packing, you heard Shota calling your name across the increasingly noisy room.
"(Y/N), you're in charge of cleaning the blackboard today." Upon hearing him, you looked up to see Shota looking in your direction and nodded to signal him that you had heard him. Now knowing that you were tasked with cleaning, you rushed to pack up and then clean the blackboard while most of your classmates were already on their way to Lunch Rush.

You grabbed the chalkboard cleaner and raised your hand to erase the chalk from the board. But you immediately realised that you couldn't reach the very top. So you jumped to reach it. As you were repeatedly jumping and standing on tiptoes while focusing to get the board clean, you suddenly heard Shota's voice from behind you. "Mineta, Kaminari, you should go or else you'll miss lunch break." The moment you heard him, you momentarily stopped in your tracks and slowly turned around, curious to know what was happening behind you. You saw Shota still standing at the teacher's desk, writing something with his right hand while his left one was holding a book and that arm was stretched out to his side, as if he wanted to show someone the cover of that book, though it was sideways.

Before you had a chance to say anything, you saw Kaminari and Mineta standing near their seats. But they didn't stand there for too long. Both boys disappeared through the door within seconds. As soon as they were gone, you turned to Shota and asked him what happened. But instead of an answer, he just told you not to worry about it. He then proceeded to stand to his feet, pick up the second chalk cleaner and help you with your task. Shota was cleaning the parts that were difficult for you to reach and with his help, you were done in no time.
"Thanks Shota." You whispered his name, afraid that there would be someone in the hallway that could overhear you.
When you had finally wrapped up the cleaning, you grabbed your bag and the two of you were on the way out. When you were almost at the door frame, you picked up the pace but came to a sudden halt right at the exit. There, you glanced to both sides of the hallway. Once you saw that the coast was clear, you spun around to face Shota who had caught up to you, stood on your tiptoes, grabbed his collar for some steadiness, and gave him a very quick peck on the lips. Right after you had done the deed, you turned around and left for the Lunch Rush without a word, while secretly grinning from ear to ear.

A lot had happened in your first year in UA and before you knew it, you were already an upperclassman. You could still remember your first day as second-years. Bakugo and Todoroki had received a lot of attention from the first-years and were quite popular. But they weren't the only ones who were well-known amongst the first years, which only consisted of girls. You didn't expect to have a literal fan base of your own.
"(Y/N)-senpai! Please accept this!" Someone shoved a small package towards you but you couldn't see her face nor even thank her at least, because before you could even realize that you even held something in your hand, she immediately ran away and the other students were blocking your view so you couldn't even catch a glimpse at her. But this repeated over and over while the other students were starting conversations with you and that went on until break time was over. You were pretty much flustered from all the sudden attention you received, so you did not speak much, only answering questions from them with short sentences.

After that incident, you still occasionally received small presents which consisted of cookies, tiny cakes and the likes. The reason they now only gifted you food, was because you had actually tried to refuse their presents the next time but they all still insisted that you take it and since you felt bad you told them that you would be more than happy to receive homemade food rather than other material presents. You had actually thought that maybe they would get tired to cook or bake for you and that you would stop getting any more presents. But that didn't happen at all.
Just the next day, you walked back into the classroom, loaded with bags full of food. But before parting ways with the first-years, you straight up told them that this was really enough. "I really, really appreciate all of your presents. But this is more than enough. You all don't have to give me anymore presents. Your thoughts alone are just enough for me. I also hope you all can work hard and reach the goals you all have set while in UA." After saying this little speech of yours, you mentally prayed that you really wouldn't get anything more from them.

"I think I have more than half a year worth of snacks now..." Multiple bags were sitting at a corner of your room. Upon sorting them out, you noticed, that half of them were foods that is good for anemia. You couldn't help but smile at their thoughtfulness. But you actually hoped that the excitement they were feeling would die down soon because you didn't have the energy to have such a turbulent life every day.

Two months had passed since you had become a second year and the first years had finally become quieter, not bothering you anymore. At least that was true for all except one.
Aizen Sota. That first year student had wanted to get closer to you, which was really obvious, seeing as he had been coming to see you almost every break.
