"I... don't happen to had or have a boyfriend, do I?" This question came out of (Y/N)'s mouth and it drew the girls' attention inside the changing room they were currently in. Dead silence followed right after it was said and only stares were on her. They were speechless because they got surprised by the question that suddenly came out of nowhere.
The one who gave her an answer first, was Uraraka. "You used to have a boyfriend. He's a third year. But you two haven't dated for long. It was only for two weeks or so." After a long pause, Ashido continued with the topic. "If I remember correctly, his name was Hanazono Ryu.", the pink girl added, "Well, it was kinda sad that you two broke up so soon but you said that you two weren't suited for each other."
"Who?" (Y/N) raised an eyebrow and tilted her head to the side while thinking about who the just mentioned person might be. But she didn't seem to be able to recall him. "Well, of course you wouldn't remember him if you couldn't even remember us.", Yaoyorozu said, "It didn't work out with you two and ever since then, the both of you haven't seen each other at all. Luckily you seemed okay after that though.""But you're currently not seeing anyone." Asui answered the other question of (Y/N) and that got her pondering. "I see..." Even though she said that, she wasn't really satisfied about it and felt rather uneasy. Those pictures she had found were still bothering her. "Why did we take photos together? Why... did I kiss him?"
As soon as she had these thoughts, a light throbbing pain went through her head so she massaged her temple with the hope of relieving the aching.
"Was it a mistake? Or could it really be...?" The pain grew stronger as she tried to remember those missing memories but it only caused her head to become fuzzy."(Y/N)..."
"(Y/N)!"
She was swaying between reality and the world in her mind, making her unable to fully grasp the current situation. The voices calling her name sounded panicky and worrisome but she couldnt hear them as she was too immersed in her fog-stated mind. Only when the fog cleared, could she get complete control of her body again. By the time she took in her surrounding again, she was surrounded by girls.
"I don't think you should participate in today's training session." Looking up, she saw Asui's face filled with worry and like a reflection, it could also be seen on everyone else.
Just then, another wave of headaches came and with them, blurred images. It was, as if a series of scenes were playing before her eyes. Scenes that she felt were not unfamiliar for her."Are you sure that you want to be in this session? Why not rest?" Uraraka nodded in agreement of Yaoyorozu's remark and added, "You look a little pale right now."
(I'm so sorry for my dear readers who can't get pale. For you it's: "You're sweating a little and don't look so good.")
She slowly shook her head as she looked to the ground. "No, I'm fine. Thank you for worrying. Let's go to the training ground." She swiftly made her way to the door as if nothing had happened.
Under her heavy breath, she mumbled the words, "It feels like I'm about to get my memories back..."Since the start of the training, concerned pairs of eyes were laying on the hybrid girl. The girls noticed that her conditon didn't get any better at all, in fact, it worsened with every second she spend with training. Her moves became weaker and sloppier.
She was currently fighting off some clones from Ectoplasm on a hill created by Cementoss who were both aiding in class' 1A's training. Even with her condition, she was moving and jumping about, taking the training more than serious. But of course she came to sway a little as well as lost her balance every now and then.Just now, she was once again continuously jumping backwards while avoiding constant kicks from Ectoplasm. He had also noticed that she was in no state to train and he came to a halt, wanting to stop her training now.
But he was too late to see a certain detail and that caused him to not be able to react to it in time in order to prevent it from happening.(Y/N) was jumping way too far away and eventually reached the edge of the square cement cliff. But because she wasn't paying attention to it, since she was moving backwards, she was unaware of it. Not until she lost her footing and gravity was now dragging her down from the height of more than 30 feet. From the shock of not expecting it, she was too late to do anything and all she knew, was that her view changed to the bright hall lamps which were distancing themselves from her in a rapid pace. Different scenarios were flashing through her mind and she was already bracing herself to hit the hard ground.
But very different from her expectations, she felt something hard wrapping around her before she then landed on something soft and strong and in the blink of an eye, the side of her head got pressed to something hard.
That was when one of her five senses was picking something up and immediately as if on reflex, tears were pricking her eyes.
"A-are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?" the man who had come to her rescue was stuttering with his eyes wide open, as if he was using his quirk on her. But his eye colour remained black.
The girl herself was in the unknown of why she was crying right now. She had a feeling as if she had known it a few seconds ago but she forgot already. (Y/N) brought her hands to her face to quickly wipe away the tears from her eyes and face while she shook her head. After a small sniff, she responded to her teacher, "No, I'm not hurt. Thank you sensei."
But he didn't move an inch and for a moment, she thought that his eyes became pained as if he was reminded of a bad memory. "Are you sure you're okay?" In order to assure him that she really was unharmed, she smiled brightly and gave him a nod. The teacher could see that somehow, her mood had made a drastic change. But he was in the dark of what had caused it.
After letting her down, the homeroom teacher announced the end of the training session and dismissed the students.(Y/N), on the other hand, was stuck inside her head and just went along with her classmates without even being conscious of it. She was tagging along the group of teenagers but after a while, she lagged behind because she gradually slowed down.
Again, she heard her name being called after her classmates had noticed that she wasn't with them anymore. It took them several attempts to get the girl's attention and just when they wanted to walk back to her, she finally returned to reality.
"We should hurry and get back so (Y/N) can rest. She really doesn't seem well today and what happened at the training session was really dangerous." Everyone agreed to what Midoriya had stated but not the person he was talking about. She was the only one who shook her head and said, "I somehow feel like being alone for a moment and think... about some things. It might help me get my memories back. So you guys can go ahead." They were reluctant to let her be alone but since she really insisted to it, they gave up and went back to the high alliance, leaving the girl by herself.Once she was by herself, she began to walk in circles while looking to the ground. She went on like this for a good minute before she stopped but didn't lift her head yet. She was thinking back on what had happened 20 or some minutes ago. But it didn't help her to remember anything at all.
Before she knew it, she turned her head to the side and looked to a spot in the bushes. She stared at it as if she wanted to burn a hole through those green leaves.
Just as she wanted to look away, she froze on the spot."Are you going to keep it?" Something echoed inside her head. A single sentence someone had spoken. But right now, she wasn't in the right state of mind to delve deeper into it.
At first she staggered her way forward, but then she regained her balance and walked straight back to her dorm with steady steps without glancing back.Once night fell, the girl was laying in her bed, fully covered under her sheet except from her head. As her eyes kept on closing and opening, they eventually stayed shut and she slowly drifted off to sleep.
"...(Y/N)"
"You're beautiful."
"I love you too."
