The moment you regained consciousness, you heard something beside you. The cause of the quiet noises was a nurse, who was changing the bag of on IV drip that was attached on your arm. You slowly sat up, which of course made the nurse notice you being awake. And so she called for the doctor.
"You were unconscious with a high fever for three days. The injuries on your back and stomach are not fatal but you still should avoid moving too much to reduce the chance of reopening them. So with this, you should be able to leave after two weeks."
"And once again bedridden..."
You really wanted to walk out of the hospital, because you were eager to know about the saved children. But you couldn't.
So you were sitting on the bed, spending your time by staring out the window even though there wasn't a single thing that caught your interest.
There wasn't anything for you to do nor to worry about.Well, regarding Kuro, he was being taken care of.
Before you had left for the mission, you had asked Koda to look after Kuro since you didn't know how long the mission would last. Or more like, you asked him to take care of your pet all the time when you weren't in the dorm.
So you could rest assured, because you knew that you could trust Koda. Now, you were thinking about various things. And your thoughts were somehow leading to one specific person.
Aizawa Shota. You didn't know why but you felt your face heating up by the thought of him.
"... What?" You touched your heated face and your burning skin was going over to your hand. "Why...? Why am I heating up by the thought think of him?"
"Why?"You shook your head in hope of getting the man out if your head but with no success. "What the.... this can't be..."
"Am I... crushing on my teacher?"
Without really wanting it, all the things he had done for you and also all the times he had talked to you were running through your mind like a movie being played in the cinema. And you were the only one to watch it.
After the last memory of him had finished playing, you swallowed hard.
Now you knew the answer, as your face was growing even hotter than it already was.You had a crush on your teacher.
And that for a long time already.
You just hadn't noticed it because you weren't paying any attention on it.No wonder you had been thinking of him from time to time. But you had just said to yourself that it was because he was taking care of you and that he was just like a second parent for you. Nothing more.
But now you knew that that was not the case.
It was because you were crushing on him.
Such a simple reason but it was complicated at the same time."Calm down." you said to yourself but it didn't work. A sudden slide of the door startled you and you were glad that the nurse came in to check on you since it was somewhat distracting you.
But it only held on for a few seconds.
The thought of Aizawa immediately creeped into your mind again after these few seconds, which made you want to punch yourself.Of course you didn't do it; instead you smiled at the nurse who just came inside.
"You should go to bed. It's pretty late already." the nurse said in which you nodded. "All right. I'll sleep now."She left and you changed your sitting position into a laying one while pulling the sheet over your body.
You shut your eyes in order to sleep, praying that you wouldn't think of Aizawa anymore, because you knew that you wouldn't be able to get any sleep when you keep on thinking of that man.
At first, your attempt failed but luckily, after a few minutes, your mind got finally freed from him and went blank, making you able to sleep peacefully.
- Aizawa's POV -
Like promised, the hospital notified me the moment (Y/N) had woken up.
So when I got the message, I first wanted to go and see her but in the end, I decided not to.
And it also got pretty late. Night was soon to fall. It would be pretty strange for me to go see her now. So I didn't visit her and went home instead.
