Everyone in class 1A could see that (Y/N) was kind of out of it today. She had been in a daze from time to time and now during lunch break, she was once again staring holes into the air. Of course, seeing how quiet and reserved the girl was being, it didn't come unnoticed by her classmates, especially now that she was sitting with Midoriya, Uraraka, Asui and Iida at a table in the school cafeteria.
A repeated, light tap on her shoulder was what made her snap out of her daze and she looked to her side. Asui was the one who had made the girl notice her surroundings and as she was now looking at Asui, she slowly began to speak after she was completely sure that she had gotten her full attention. "Is something wrong? You're acting kind of strange today. Got something on your mind?"
There was indeed something that had been weighting on her mind ever since the day she had last gone shopping. And it included her homeroom teacher.
No matter how long she had thought about it, she just couldn't find a conclusion to the way he had acted towards her so far. Plus, she still didn't know the meaning of those photos she had discovered. On her way to the classroom, she was lost in her thoughts once again as she walked down the hallway. What unexpectedly made her come back to reality, were her eyes capturing a person who had repeatedly occupied her mind for the past few days. Her homeroom teacher was standing along the wall, currently having a conversation with Present Mic. Even though her body moved forward and eventually passed him, her eyes had been fixated on him ever since she had first spotted him. His face remained stoic as he was looking at the person he was talking to.
When she turned her head back to look at him, she flinched once her eyes laid on the person she had sought out. The sole reason of it was, that his eyes were now laying on her. But a large group of students walked in between, severing this short connection the two of them had had. And by the time they were gone, she had already walked quite a distance to be able to see him anymore. It was, as if her body had reacted to this eye contact, seeing as how it seemed to not listen to her anymore as it abruptly stopped moving. Her heart was pounding uncontrollably as she got brought to her knees due to feeling weak plus a wave of headaches that suddenly occured to her, and something appeared in between her fogged state of mind. Something, or more like someone was appearing from the fog in her head. The silhouette of a person could be made out by her. But that was pretty much everything she had been able to see.
What had just happened felt like a dream for (Y/N). Though what didn't add up for it to had been a dream, was that it was still vividly in her head.
(Y/n) tried to gulp, but she couldn't. Only now did she notice that her throat had gone dry.
Remembering that she was almost at the classroom, (Y/N) slowly stood up and once she recovered from her weak state, she went straight to the classroom with fast steps while ignoring the people who had neared her, asking her if she was all right.Drinking some water really helped make the dryness in her throat go away and by the time she had stowed the bottle of water back inside her backpack, her classmates had also reached the room. Of course due to (Y/N)'s previous unusual behaviour, the first thing most of them did, was rushing to where the girl was.
"Are you perhaps not feeling well? If so, do you want to go to the infirmary and rest?" Yaoyorozu suggested and it took a while for her to think about it since she was wondering if it was really necessary for her to go there. Once she made up her mind, she decided to remain inside the classroom. After all, she felt way better than before because gone now were the symptoms she had had back then."What exactly was that just now?... Maybe it was a piece of my memory coming back to me?" But thinking about it now didn't help her to remember anything at all and she decided to focus on the lesson at hand which had started not long ago than on the previous event.
The last period was with Aizawa as the teacher. And that was the start of (Y/N) not being able to concentrate anymore once again. She was in a dazed state and that was very visible on her face. Since Aizawa was looking at his students every now and then, it did not come unnoticed by him that (Y/N) wasn't focused on the the lesson at all.
A blank expression had plastered on her face as she continuously stared at one point on the blackboard instead of the things he wrote.
But he left her be.School ended and the teacher was the first to exit the classroom while the students had to pack their things first. Admits the teenagers who were doing that, there was an exception. (Y/N) was still sitting on her seat, unmoving. Only when someone touched her shoulder, did she come back to her senses again. "The lessons ended. Let's go back (Y/N)... You don't seem to look so good so maybe it's better if you rest after we're back at the dorm." That was what Yaoyorozu had suggested. The girl wasn't really agreeing to it because it wasn't that she wasn't feeling well, it was just that she had a strange feeling that something was not right. As if something was missing. But she couldn't figure out what it was, since it seemd to be a part of the memories she had lost.
Once again snapping out of her thoughts, (Y/N) stuffed her books and exercise books into her bag in a hurry and followed after the girls who had stayed and waited for her.
Though, now that she was inside her room, she still couldn't shake the feeling of having a blank space in her being. She sat on her bed and slowly tried to put all the pieces, she hadn't come to be able to understand, together.
In addition, she counted in all the factors she had seen while she was racking her brain to get her memories back.
The second toothbrush in her bathroom, the collection of clothes in her closet which didn't seem to be hers and the most biggest discovery: the purikura pictures of her and Aizawa. She was now carefully mulling over everything she had come to experience so far. Then, her thoughts drifted to her teacher. "He had been acting rather suspicious up until now..." And come to think of it, there had been one time where he had been very strange; which she couldn't explain: The very moment she had woken up in the hospital. Aizawa had been there and if she remembered correctly, he had also been holding onto her hand. It seemd to her that he had been so shocked by her reaction that he immediately released the grip.
"Even if he is my homeroom teacher, would someone really be so shocked to know that I didn't recognise him?" As far as she had come to know him, she could already conclude that he was a calm and rational person. "Something about me seemd to have cause him to react like that..."
"Also this smell from those clothes..." Her body had seemed to remember something, or why else would she have cried back then?Somehow, she felt that she wasn't too far away from regaining her memories.
