- Aizawa's POV -
Once we arrived at the hospital, I thanked the police officer for the drive and got off the car. I stood next to the car for a few seconds but shortly after noticing that (Y/N) wouldn't come out, I went to the other side and peeked through the window only to see her sitting there, with her eyes closed and not moving an inch.
So I opened the door and softly shook her shoulder, but she didn't give any sign of being conscious. That's when I noticed that her breath was short and heavy. I quickly got her out of the car and carried her to the hospital. While I carried her, I felt something wet and warm on my hand and arm that was supporting her back. I looked down to the ground and widened my eyes at the sight of the red liquid dripping down to the ground.
Realising that it was blood that flowed from her back, I pressed my hand on her bleeding wound and quickened my pace to arrive inside the building faster. A doctor and a few nurses were immediately available and they put (Y/N) onto a bed to push her to an operation room.
I came along but had to stop in front of the door, so I took a seat on one of the many seats in the corridor. Anxiety overcame me as I stared at the closed double door leaf. My gaze slowly went from the door to the wall in front of me and from there, down to the ground. I noticed that my hands were trembling as they were supporting my head with my elbows onto my tights.- About an hour later -
The sound of the door being pushed open immediately got my attention. I stood up and walked towards the doctor who came out of the room. "How is she?" I asked him, somewhat afraid of the answer that might come. "The operation was successful.", he ressured, "She'll be all right." At that moment, my heart, which felt like it had stood still the whole time, began to beat in a stable rhythm again. A relieved sigh escaped my lips.
"She'll be staying here until she regains consciousness and her injuries are treated." the doctor informed me. "All right. Please notify me when she wakes up." It was as if a heavy weight got lifted from my shoulder. "Ok. We'll do that."
I turned away from the doctor and went away, out of the hospital. My feet were way lighter now than they had been at the time I had seen (Y/N) getting injuried until now.Now that the mission was over, I had to do all the paperwork regarding the mission we had just cleared. But once I was working on them, I couldn't really concentrate on my work. My mind was continually drifting towards the thoughts of (Y/N). But why was it like that? After several failed attempts to concentrate, I gave up; my elbows on the desk with my hands covering my face.
I was sitting there and (Y/N) was on my mind once again. Again. Why was I thinking about her again?
"I should go home and rest." So I stood up and just went home.
When I got home, I laid down on my bed and eventually dozed off.
