The spotlights were brightly shining down on you. People of diverse ages were sitting in rows, staring at the stage you were on. A woman was sitting next to you, holding a microphone just like you were doing right now as you brought it closer to your mouth.
"I just admired heroes ever since I was little. So my dream was to be just like them and help people. That's why I entered UA." you said with a smile while looking at the woman and then at the crowd.

~ Flashback || A few days ago ~

Class had ended and so you got ready to walk back to the dormitory. There, you first relaxed a bit before starting with your homework.
It was early in the evening when Shota came into your room through the balcony as always. He had brought some things with him, which were a stack of paperwork and some new clothes.
While sitting down on the floor, he mentioned something. "I just received a call from a talk show and they requested an audience with you. What do you think? Are you up for it?" It didn't take you long to answer and since there was no reason for you to refuse, you agreed on it.

~ End of flashback ~

So here you were, sitting on the stage and answering questions from the mc.
"And this includes the questions we prepared for you. But that's not the end! We've collected some more questions from our audience. Let's start the second round of questioning!"

At first, some random questions got asked like, if you liked your work so far, and many others like those. Those were easy to answer. That was, until this question got dropped.
"You're quite young. And you're already pretty popular among the people. Do you have a boyfriend?"
This question caught you off guard and it almost made your smile crumble. Fortunately, you managed to keep your face as it was before you replied to it.
"I currently don't have a boyfriend. Nor do I intend to do so in the near future. Right now, I just want to focus on my future as a hero."
"I see. What an impressive determination. Now, that was the end of the interview. Thank you for taking the time to show up to this show."

You let out a long breather. "I did keep smiling but what if my expression was strange? How exactly did I look like back then?"
You were told that the show was going to air in a few days so you had to wait until you could see yourself on tv and check for yourself how you had looked.
"Until then, let's calm down." you mentally said while you got into your grandpa's car. He had driven you to this place and waited until the end to also drive you back to the dorm.

"I'm baaack!" The moment you returned to your room, you steered straight to your bed, plopped down In front of it, and buried your face into the sheets. Moments later, your eyes, which you had closed, opened to the sound of rustling and the feeling of the sheets brushing against your head. You stood up with a smile as you spotted the person you had expected but your eyes widened when you saw something unexpected.

Not only was your boyfriend laying there as you had thought, Kuro was also in your bed. They were peacefully sleeping all snuggled up to one another. Upon seeing this, you couldn't stop smiling and your hand reached down to your pocket to pull out your smartphone.
After having taken a few photos, you went to the bathroom to change your clothes to pajamas. There was nothing for you to do, so you decided to spend your time checking your phone for some news or other things.

And just like this, evening was there. By that time, Shota had eventually woken up and so you greeted him with a, "Good evening. Did you have a nice nap?" He reached out to hug you as if you were a teddy bear and asked, "When did you get back?" You just couldn't describe the feeling you get when you hear his voice every time he wakes up. It would be deeper than usual and even more alluring than ever, which always makes your heart tingle. This time was no exception. You patted his head and answered, "I got back two hours ago. You can go back to sleep if you've got nothing to do." But Shota shook his head and rubbed his face against your belly while doing so. "No need. I'm awake now." Then he put his head on his neck to look up at you with his chin now resting on your stomach. As he began talking again, you could feel his chin slightly pressing down on your skin every time he opened his mouth. This too gave you heartburn.

"How was your day? Did you stumble into any difficulties?" While now running your fingers through his hair, you admitted, "Well, there was a point I got taken aback by a sudden question but I think I got through it without much trouble." Shota nodded lightly. "Hm. Glad to hear that."
You both then went over to his dorm to sleep there for the night.

"By the way, Shota..." Your eyes were nowhere near full of affection anymore as you now looked him straight in the eye. You were sulky as you thought back on today. But to be honest, your sulking wasn't very genuine. It was more of a playful way. "What's wrong all of the sudden?" He asked. You could hear the concern in his voice. At first, you showed him the photo of him and Kuro you had previously taken. "Were you replacing me with Kuro?" you questioned him while sulking, much like a child. Shota's eyebrows raised ever so slightly as he stared at the photo on your phone for a second. His gaze then quickly shifted back to you and the moment his eyes caught you, he reached out to you and tousled your hair before he grabbed a strand of it which he lead closer to him. When his hand with your hair in it was close enough to touch his face, his lips connected with your hair.

"You know that I could never replace you with someone or anything else." Shota's eyes were looking deep into yours and this was your weakness. You couldn't keep up your act anymore and a smile broke through your facade which turned to straight-out laughing out loud.
When you ceased laughing, you took his hand, snuggled up to him, and mumbled against his chest, "I'm sleepy..."
He uttered a single chuckle. "Then, let's sleep."
But just before you closed your eyes, you saw a black little thing jumping in front of your face. "What's wrong Kuro?" He had placed himself in between your and Shota's heads and rolled into a small ball. Now you couldn't see your boyfriend anymore but all you saw was black while something tickled your face all over. "What are you doing Kuro?" You giggled as you pushed the fur touching your face away. But Kuro didn't seem like he would want to move away anytime soon. "Well, whatever." With your free hand, you pat Kuro until you eventually fell asleep.
