The days you had had after the mission were pretty much the same. The same normal school life as a student in a hero school would have. Except that, in your case, some additional things would happen.

In class, you would still catch yourself staring at Aizawa as he teaches.
Even though you wanted to forget about him, you couldn't stop yourself from doing so. You were just doing it on your own.

It actually was just like mental torture for you.
The more you wanted to forget him, the more you had to think about him.

It was lunch break.
Finally free from at least having to see Aizawa.

Just like the past few days, you went to eat your lunch together with Hanazono.

When you arrived at the usal place, where you two would always eat, no one was to be seen there.

"He must not have arrived yet."

So you sat down on the bench and waited.

Outside here, there usally weren't many students, so it was pretty quiet. Only the rustle of the leaves from the trees caused by the wind was sounding inside your ears.

But later, you would hear something different than that.

"(Y/N)!" Hanazono was happily waving while drawing in on you.

You two were sitting next to each other in silence while eating your lunch boxes but you could feel Hanazono staring at you.

You did your best to ignore it and continue eating as if nothing was wrong.

But Hanazono eventually spoke.

"Uhmm... (Y/N)...", he started as he looked away from you to the ground, "I have something to tell you."

You patiently waited for him to tell you this something he wanted you to hear.

After a minute of silence, he began, "I really...", he looked at your face and you could see his eyes widening for a moment, "Oh, it's nothing important. On second thought, it's pretty silly. Just forget it."

It didn't seem like something not important to you but you didn't want to force him to say it, so you didn't asked him and just began to talk about some random stuff.

It was not that you just wanted to ignore what had just happened but you wanted to listen the intense atmosphere surrounding you two.

And to your luck, it helped.

Hanazono went along with your flow and you talked about some things that had just crossed your mind.

"Goodbye (Y/N)"
"Goodbye"

You two went back to your classrooms.

On your way there, you thought about Hanazono's behaviour earlier.

"What could that have been...?... Wait, this strange behaviour... Could it be...?", you shook your head, "No way..."

Then it was time for the next lessons to start.

After the last lesson had finished, you packed your school material inside your back and stood up to head out. Just as you looked at the exit of the classroom, you spotted Hanazono standing there once again. He somehow seemed excited and reserved at the same time.

The two of you walked silently towards the dorms. On the way, he suddenly stopped, in which you also ceased walking.

"(Y/N)... actually, there's something I want to tell you." Just like earlier this day, he averted his eyes to the ground.
But when he continued, he looked up to you again and spoke.

"I... I love you. Please go out with me."

Now that was something you didn't expect. It took you a second to realized what he had just said and after your brain being able to process it, you were speechless.

You didn't see this coming at all.

It was not that you didn't like him, it was just that.... That what?

Aizawa suddenly flashed into your mind.

"I swear that I'll treat you good. So please...!"

It was true that he was pretty sweet and such...
