How long had it been since you were in this dark, old and dusty room?
When had you last seen the sunlight?

Not knowing how long it had been since you got brought here, you just had to endure the beatings you received daily.
You were also barely sleeping. Who could sleep peacefully in these circumstances? You were only resting your body and mind, every time they weren't using violence against you. But you weren't helpless anymore. The whole time you spent there, your fighting spirit was rebuilt and your will to break out from them was now determined. You just hoped for the right time to free yourself from them.

At some point your body wasn't in effect of the drug anymore and they also weren't injecting it to you either. For now. You had no idea if they were going to give it to you again. Now you waited for the perfect moment to escape.
Later, when you were completely sure that you were alone, you struggled to stand up from your laying position. When you were finally standing on your two feet after a long time again, you first had to breath calmly as you leaned against the wall. All the your muscles were aching and throbbing throughout your entire body and your gritted your teeth as you endured the pain.
"These cuffs are a pain..." While pulling at the restraints, you tried to think of an idea to get them off you. "Or should I just..." You shook your head by the thought that had just crossed your mind, because you actually didn't dare doing it. Even though you really wanted to escape from here, you didn't want to do it to yourself. Dislocating your wrists and ankles. That was the thought that had just crossed your mind.
And even if you would do this and get freed from the chains, the possibility to escape safely without being seen by them, was very low. Because you didn't even know where you were and you also didn't know the structure of this building. So it could be that you would be caught before you could even find an exit.

While you were sitting down on the cold floor, you tried to come up with another idea. But something else popped into your mind. "Grandpa is probably pretty worried by now..." You had lived with your grandfather ever since your parents had died in an car accident ten years ago.

Clenching your teeth, you concentrated on collecting your strength while leaning against the wall. But the moment you made one step forward, you suddenly felt groggy and with this, you fell to the floor, sending dust flying everywhere. Some even got stuck in your dry throat and caused you to cought. Your throat began to burn and tears formed in your eyes, since dust were also reaching them.

Not having a decent meal ever since you got brought here, was one of the reasons that you were in a pretty weak state.
Now you didn't have the strength to get up anymore.
"What a way to escape..."
A few minutes later, you tried to stand up again but this time, your body wouldn't move even an inch. And so you laid there like a doll that got left behind in an old room of an dilapidated house.
You didn't have any strength left and as you laid there, you felt that your eyes slowly became heavier, just like every inch in your body. Before long, you lost consciousness.
